We rent a golf cart from Bonaire Cruisers and check out the southern part of the island. We have done this before and loved it. This time we went with friends Josh and Michelle from Adventures Ahead. Nothing like riding down the road in a golf cart viewing the beautiful island.

do tehy give detailed maps of the twp routes..we wanted to do the northern route but im wondering if i need to take notes on the vid or will they give a deatiled map with all the stops
They provide detailed maps.
About how long does it take to take the south route loop like you did and make stops at the highlights along the way.
It depends on if you stop to swim, eat, take a lot of pictures etc etc. I say for us it was about 4-5 hours. We intentionally took our time though.

Another great video, Golf carts are sold out April 5th , so going to rent motor scooters
You can have them put you on a waiting list. Someone always backs out at the last minute. You can use my name if needed.
@@luvysfatlife yeah actually I did contact them…they said they don’t do waitlists anymore that I just had to keep checking or show up and hope someone didn’t keep their reservation Day of

Thanks for sharing. We are going in 2 weeks time and have booked the buggy. We’re there places to stop en route to get refreshments and use the bathrooms ?
Yes, but the further south you go there are less places. I’d go early on or it will be awhile.

Going in 3 weeks on a cruise. We are debating a golf cart or renting a vehicle. What do you guys think? Can the island be explored via golf cart in decent time? How long do you think it would take to get from Rincon to the southern islands lighthouse in a golf cart?
You may be better off in a car for that long of a drive. From the cruise port, it takes us every bit of 4-5 hours when you take into consideration pulling over for photos or experiencing. I do know some that did the southern and northern tour, but there is no way they were able to stop and soak things in.
Great Vlog!! Did you rent the golfcart same day or did you rent in advance online? Do they have alot of the 4 seaters? Going on a cruise in a month and looks like fun!! Thanks!!!
We reached out via Facebook to reserve. If you don’t, they will probably be sold out. Hint: even if sold out check when you get there. Someone may cancel last minute.
Also…..they normally only have two seaters.

I don’t know real name but when on golf cart it’s heading down the south side of island off main road. Beautiful.
