    I've got 2 Husqvarna 150BT's and they've been great. Owned 5 years with no issues. Start up every time like a champ! Own 3 acres of tree lined property so leaves are an annual job for me but these units help immensely.
    I can't speak for the Badger but the Husqvarna has been 100%. Would buy again.

    i bought the husq last year and it is holding up. At first I had trouble starting it but realized if you pull more than 3-10 times initially, you've flooded the engine and you can clear the flood by putting the choke off and pulling a few times, and then start the procedure again.

    I picked up an echo 580. It was $409 out the door at Home Depot. Started on second pull out the box. Has 5 year warranty. Also has a metal ring around the bottom of the tube so it doesn’t wear from scrubbing on concrete. Also it has holes in the back plate and it blows air on your back so it doesn’t sweat as bad. Not to mention it’s a beast!

    I’d go Husky since who knows how easy it’ll be to get Badger parts 10 years from now. With that said I’ve got a bg86 for light post mow clean up and br800 for fall which is a great mix for me.

    Just got the Wild Badger 53cc back pack blower for Christmas, put it together a couple hours ago which only took about 15 minutes. I’m in Northern Wisconsin so it won’t see any action until next summer. The only thing I’m not really sure about is the backpack straps. They seem a little flimsy but I’m use to a Stihl commercial unit at work. I have two large red oak trees that drop a ton of leaves in the late fall so this will be very helpful to clean them up, otherwise I will continue to use my 18v Ryobi blower for routine cleanups after I mow.

      I agree and talk about that in the video. But overall, with a jacket on, they did work much better than one would think.

      I can't come out and tell people to buy a $650 blower without showing them why I chose what I did. It is also nice for me to keep grounded on what is on the market and at what price. When I recommend people buy something, and that is not often, I want to know the market inside and out. More blower stuff to come. Lol

    The Husq comes with an end cap with a more narrow hole in it. It focuses the air stream and increases the output. Now, yes, its a more narrow path but it really gets under and lifts things up.

    The huge difference between these two is that wild badger is a fly by night Chinese company. Who knows where they will be, even in a year. Where are you going to get parts for this when it breaks, and it will break eventually. Husqvarna is a Swedish company and has been around since 1689. You should literally be able to go most anywhere OPE is sold, and get parts for your blower. I prefer not to spend my money on Chinese crap. This Husqvarna is basically a Redmax blower with a different back pad and straps.

    I think Husky numbers you referenced are from the housing not the tube. I think I saw on their website they list both. But def a marketing tactic that the housing numbers are the ones listed on the Lowe’s or other stores numbers. From the tube it’s 174mph and 452cfm. Good review. The BR800 in your other video is a beast though!

    Big husky fan here, they've really never let me down so far so I'd take the price hit and get a longer tube with the husky.

    The ECHO PB-9010 is far more powerful than these units (advertised as the WORLDS MOST POWERFUL) and even more powerful than the BR800. I have one and it is actually insane airspeed and CFM. Prior Stihl 660 owner. PB-9010 is 80CC. 26.7 lbs (dry), 220 MPH and 1110 CFM. You should test this beast.

  • @jaarryifleshblood315
    @jaarryifleshblood315 Před 21 dnem

    It’s 853 CFM on the website for the Wild badger but on the box when you get it, it’s 559CFM any reason why it’s lower?

      IMHO, all of the Husqvarna plastic over all the power equipment feels cheap. I am unsure if that is because they went with Home Depot and Amazon for sales or if it is just what they spec. It performs well.
