Thanks so much for making this video focusing on Blairgowrie. My grandfather, Alexander Davidson, sang tenor in the Presbyterian church choir in Blairgowrie before he left for Canada in 1904. His father had a bakery in Kirkmichael Parish. I have few particulars, only that they were Davidsons in Perthshire, and Blairgowrie has always held an imagined place in my memory. 💐

Venator was it the birds eye drone shot flying upwards revealing the ‘cross’ of the Wellmeadow? Hmmm... my favourite drone shot was flying towards the castle on the hill with the river in the distance.

“The beautiful part about having an Australian, Kiwi, American, and Canadian audience is that we’re able to share our beautiful town, Blairgowrie, with those at the other side of our world. Especially with those whom have never, ever heard of the local people who make this the magical place we come to discover, until now.”

@@ThisIsKylesLife My branch came to the South, where we are now. They travelled with one of Daniel Boone's parties into Kentucky/Ohio River valley and spent some generations, there then my GGF came to Mississippi, where all of the other branches of my family came (they' all came in the 17th and 18th centuries from different parts of Britain).
