What it's like being a Public Affairs Specialist in the United States Air Force. Hope these pieces of advice help you on your journey, GOOD LUCK! Video made by: The Wealthy Warrior
I've been out for some time now. If I knew that Public Affairs would have been my gateway into digital marketing/PR, I would have totally geared my efforts to that. I took what I could get though due to rough times and this is nice to see that I could have gotten a job that didn't require me carrying a gun all day.
What kind of software do you guys use? Are you restricted to specific software or do you have the freedom to use your own? Especially when it comes to graphics design, photography, and video and sound editing?
Hey man! Thanks so much for your content. I’m about to sign Friday or Monday and am aiming for Public Affairs. I am a fairly proficient speaker and can take shots on a camera, but I don’t have much more experience than that. My question is, how can I better equip myself to be more competitive for this role?
That’s awesome to hear, wishing you the best of luck on your journey! As long as you have a ASVAB score of 72+, and have passed the punctuation test, that’s really all you can do in terms of “setting yourself up”
Hello I am looking to pick this mos to increase my camera skills but I am wary that I won’t have as much free time to create my own personal content. Is this going to be more of a banker schedule or is it long hours?
Is there a public affairs specialist job in the Marine Corp, because I can only find specific jobs like combat videographer and photographer. I wanna be able to everything
Hey Man! I’m going into the Air National Guard and this will be my MOS! Can you tell me about job opportunities that I can get outside of the airforce with this job?
After losing my job last minute I’m booking this and you just made me so happy and excited
