For the young people listening to this recording, developing your "musical ear" pitch (remember to tune your instrument) and timing to play as a unit is essential. We call it, "being tight." The core of the unit drums, bass guitar, rhythm guitar and keys are all in the groove. When the horns come in at their time its nice accents, clean articulation as a horn player is essential.
