★★ AIRPORT INFORMATION ★★

Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport serves city “Xiamen” which is a province of Fujian, China. It is situated at Xiamen Island north side about 10 km away from city downtown.
The airport has 2 terminals, which are named as T3 and T4. There is no availability for passengers to stay whole night in the airport as it will be closed after the arrival of last flight.
There are around 44 airlines in which T3 serves overseas airlines and T4 serves domestic airlines.
There are several amenities for travelers that are available at the airport.

Availability of duty-free shopping in 6 locations and also decent collections of outlet to pass passengers time.

Apart of wheelchair service which is free, there are barrier-free accessibility, customized telephones, disabled toilets for travelers with mobility.

Passengers can use Wi-Fi on the airport if they have Chinese cellphone. Other entertainment amenities include hair salon, SPA, massage armchairs, showers located at international lounge (first class), etc.

2 business centers are located, one is at departures level T3 and other is at departures level T4. Several ATMs and foreign exchange kiosks are located at both terminals

Max, have a safe flight back to Changsha. I love the Xiamen airport with the shops, restaurants, sculptures and wonderful open design. Maybe I am a little strange, but I love seeing infrastructure projects in China almost as much as the tourist sites. The infrastructure in China is world class and growing all the time. Please continue to film all the subways, train stations, airports, bridges, super highways, museums, hospitals, schools and just about everything that makes China the envy of the world. A normal airport
This is what (@ 9:02) the Taiwanese see when they come to visit their relatives in Fujian.
"The Eye is A Teacher" is a saw (no pun intended) in my neck of the woods.
The last vid I saw was the one about the Earthen Bldgs .... usually 4 stories.. of Fujian. Speaking of "MIN", Ningxia will have two Big sisters.... Fujian & Taiwan. I am a Muslim so I want the Best Sisters for the often neglecred Han Muslims...... the Hui.

The Hui Muslims are not different from the Han Chinese, as they are considered as one in having the common language, with the exception of having a different religious beliefs and abstaining from certain food. They live very well, even for many much better than the Han Chinese. So nothing to worry about the Hui Muslims as they belong to the Chinese nation, even for the Uyghurs, Koreans, Uzbeks, Mongols, Tibetans and the other 55 minority ethnic groups.

There are 2 things which stand out to me the most from watching this video.
1. A really spacious and full of attractions airport and it makes me wonder why they are considering closing it to build a new one.
2. In the subtitles it was stated that wifi is only available to people who possess Chinese mobile phones. Does it mean that if you have an iPhone you can't access wifi? Or does it simply have to be a phone bought and registered in China?
1. Because this one is relatively small. Xiamen wants to be a international city for tourism, so a big big modern airport is a must.
2. That doesn't mean Chinese brand cell phone. That means the telecom service provider. If you are a user of China Mobile, or China Unicom, or China Telecom, you can use the wifi, no matter what kind of cell phone you have.

2分15秒处的自助值机机器，软件设计有问题。2019年我用其中一台打印机票，但是上面的二维码无法被登机口的扫描仪识别。在厦门登机时登机口的人员尚可手动输入编号让我登机，在香港转机时两台扫描仪均无法识别二维码，我拉着行李箱来回花了20分钟跑到纽航柜台换票。之后发邮件给厦门机场反映问题，结果他们的邮箱已经注销，邮件被退回。在微博私信他们，一直未回复。看到这种情况，我也懒得打国际电话了，随他们便吧hhhhhh

@@WalkEast compared to T4? T3 is dark and crowded and low ceiling. You should do wuhan airport. One of the best in china i think but i haven’t been to daxing so not sure if daxing is better than wuhan. Probably is

@@jkjkjk100 hey man, u should know Xiamen airport T3 build by 1981, in the time, wuhan have no airport .wuhan airport build by 1995, so much different , what do is your expected ? Since 2000, wuhan airport becomes international airport , Xiamen international airport start from 1983. So much different mate. And now Xiamen has Started build a new bigger airport , this airport is just a little bit small then daxing airport , 2nd big in China .
