What I love about this compact is even if it's simple, it's very much more detailed than Polly Pocket Playset today. And the fact that you will be able to have 3 characters in one detailed compact was a chef kiss. 😍😍

That's pretty cool just as a toy camera, and I appreciate that the flash functions in the playset too, very clever.
Yeah, they did a great job making it look like a camera. I had a Barbie camera as a kid that actually worked and I think it was less believable than this one. =)
A lot of these sets from the late 90s are really clever. I hate the dolls though! When they changed the aesthetic to the dolls and started making their faces more detailed, they just look creepy and hideous as hell.
I mean that bride looks like someone tried to make a figure of Shelly Duval and overexaggerated her already huge overbite and buck teeth!
They’re definitely different! I try to enjoy each era of Polly for their own unique style. Comparing a set from the late 90s and beyond to a vintage set can be disappointing, for sure. 😂
Was there another version where it was just Polly and Rick ? Because I swear there was one that didn’t 😭😭😂😂
Yes! I’m not sure what the packaging on this set says, but on the version with just Polly and Rick, the back says it’s a fantasy wedding and Rick is Polly’s groom. 😂
