- Effervescent Esther Anderson, filmmaker, actress, photographer, made the documentary, "Bob Marley, The Making of a Legend" which is currently showing throughout the world. Fikisha Cumbo, caught up with her at the Brooklyn Heights Cinema for an impromptu, camera verite interview, inside the movie theater during sound check having only the low lighting of the room available, before the film showing. This is 12 minutes of the 30 minute show. The entire show will air on September 25, 2013 and includes 20 photos by Fikisha of Marley and 2 videos: "I Shot The Sheriff" and "Stir It Up" (original Wailers). I'm trying to figure this out. Out of all the movies, Esther had 1 major movie, the others were parts. A Warm December which I love was in 1973, the Bob Marley project was I guess around 2010-2011 or so. And she was with Bob with the photos etc, in the early 70s or so. What was Esther Anderson doing from say late 70s to about 2008,?That's around a thirty year gap.
Wow. She's a living legend herself!
