After some information:
Given ATV 49CC pocket bike
Cleaned up most of it (new carb, full tank, fuel lines, spark plug)
When its hot its easy to start- idles a bit rough (seems to hold revs after throttle (throttle not sticking)
When cold - its a pig to start
I have found if I take the plug out and leave it for a few hours- it tends to start a run for a short period then cuts out - if it keeps going it warms and all ok…
Any pointers what I should be looking for Also best oil/petrol ratio (25:1?)

After putting choke lever to down the engine stops, even with very warm engine. What is wrong?

When carburetor is dirty, the pilot jet gets clogged. When you remove the choke, engine tries to run on pilot jet. Yours is clogged, causes engine to quit. It’s quite easy to clean, once you remove the carburetor.
