- Here is a basic grocery haul for my family of 19 that will last about 1 month. This is missing diapers, cleaning supplies, laundry soap, etc. But it gives you a good idea of what we eat in a month give or take a few things.
After seeing Alicia doughterys haul for her large family this is refreshing
For real! she has less in her family and shops for so much for just a weeks worth.
We have a small family compared to yours only 5 people plus animals. It makes me so happy to see a large family buying the best that they can for their children. Good on you and your husband for budgeting and being able to do this for your children’s health!
Thank you so much for the sweet comment!
Love those bending shelves in that fridge under the weight of that milk. 😂
Love seeing what works for your family! Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for sharing with us.Love that haul!
I love your videos!!!God bless your family❤
I really enjoy watching your videos!! I do watch videos of others who have many children! (I had 8, wanted more). So I do enjoy watching you!!
I noticed that other large families don’t seem to have as much well behaved children as your family! I commend you! Maybe organized chaos? Idk!! But you have done a wonderful job with your family, your children!! Much love, respect and ❤️ feels for you!! ❤️
Thank you for the kind comment. It means a lot. I do try very hard to have well behaved and well mannered kids (as I’m sure everyone tries) and I know I can do better but thank you for noticing.
Thanks for sharing! I really enjoy videos from your sweet family. 💜
Great haul! I am looking forward to seeing the meals you make!
Beautiful family food looks great
Your so wise in shopping for your family , these large family’s that buy so much junk , pre package food and tons of snacks , not good for children , there setting there children up for poor health as they age older , children need fresh fruits , vegetables, lots of water not pop and fruit juice with tons of sugar , I understand it’s more convenient box , can foods , but take the time to make healthy food , parents , save on Dr bills for sure fir your children 😢
I couldn't agree more! Thanks for your comment.
PERSON, I get it, you want to let your kid eat healthy and all, but once in awhile wouldn't hurt to eat like 1 junk food item, IF YOU ONLY FEED UR KID APPLES FRUIT STICKS AND VEGGIES EVERYDAY THAT IS *TORTURE!!*
I think everyone tries their best. It's important to remember that not everyone has the same priorities in parenting. People also have children with neurodivergence. We can praise this channel without speaking ill of others. I make 12,000 a year. I could never feed my children all organic even if I desperately wanted to.
She said they made cake sometimes with honey. She said sometimes they had sugar. If they visit people those people might have sugary sweet treats. I can understand with that many children you don’t want them
all hyped up on sugar besides the health issues.

Did you miss the part about ice cream and how she makes the stuff from scratch? Like cakes, cookies, ice cream, etc.
You are awesome I love you videos! 🥰
God bless ur wonderful family. Please post videos more often! ❤
Beautiful family. So great to see you buy organic ❤
Awww, this is amazing!! You are blessed with a beautiful large family 😊 thank you for sharing your haul. I am married with no children yet, but I hope to have many with my husband!
I live on a farm. You should buy a whole cow from a local farmer. That is super healthy meat at a good price
We do buy a whole cow sometimes and sometimes just buy little bits at a time. Thanks for the comment!!
That's really not bad for the size of your family. Good for you!
You are amazing what a wonderful. Mother .
Love your videos! ❤ thank you for sharing your hauls! Believe it or not, a lot of people spend more $ than that on way less. The amount some ppl spend of soda and snacks is unreal. I’m even guilty of it! Seems like you manage the amount needed very well.
Great. Thanks for sharing!
Oh WOW 14 Gallons of Milk per week, being by myself, i can only finish a half a gallon in a month. But growing up with 6 people in our family we wemt through 6 to 8 gallons of milk per week. So i can understand the quantity with the larger family.
This was great thank u ❤❤❤
Yay a new video!!! We just had #7 friday♡♡ love your videos
Congratulations!! Im so happy for you. I wish you the best and may God bless your family!
You are such an inspiration Nancy! And you look amazing, too. You give so much wise advice and are such an encouragement for us moms who aspire to have a large family. Your haul is incredible and I'd LOVE to see your meal and snack ideas! Hurray for no, dyes, good honey, grassfed beef and raw milk too💪 ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for your sweet comment!
I raised up the next believers also! Kids are fun!
I absolutely love how healthy you try to keep your family's diet. And I like that you show it's not perfect and say there's room for improvement. That shows you're always willing to learn and make changes when you find better alternatives.
If you want a sweetener that does not raise the body's insulin, try allulose or stevia. Honey and fructose raise the body's insulin higher than you might want.
Thank you for your comment that makes a very good point I will take it into consideration for sure
Stevia is not such a great alternative . I suggest reading up about the toxins . I was surprised.😊
@@arnicepernice8656yes! I actually had a mass on my pituitary gland in my brain and my neurologist told me to cut out all artificial sweeteners including stevia. He said stevia was one of the bad ones. They are endocrine disrupters or in other words mess with your brain and hormones. I stopped and my mass went away and I am healthy and my hormones are normal now! I also try to eat as clean as possible and organic if possible as well! Maybe this will help someone.
Hello there! Wow you do a great job! I shop similar to you. I was going to guess around $1,500.00
Good for you! I would hate buying that much milk at one time but that’s probably your easier trips. 😅
Great video! Your children are so cute! Thanks for sharing.
Wow! Thanks for sharing. Were farmers on a animal based diet (no grains/vegetables) so we can save on food. ..
I'd love to see how you make your home made ice cream!
Me too Especially since they avoid sugar
Absolutely! I will do a video on it.
For if you ever do a q&a!
I’ve noticed a lot of larger families make their older children care for the younger children - what would you say your family dynamic is like in terms of this, with how yall function and operate?
Love this!
Costco has organic tomato sauce, paste, and diced tomatoes; and organic ice cream cones from Trader Joe’s
That’s very good to know I have never been to Trader Joe but I have recently heard about it and plan to make a trip I have a feeling I’m going to love it there I will for sure look into the ice cream cones
I love what you do! I too buy as much as I can organic as well as eliminating all processed sugar and making sure my meats are grass fed.
I am not a honey fan (but I'm glad you like it). I like to use coconut sugar for everything in replace of processed sugar. It tastes, bakes, and cooks just like processed sugar 1 for 1. Though once in a while I have to take the coconut sugar and use it to make powdered sugar to work with a particular recipe. I also have some recipes that use dates as the sweetener, and that's super delicious, too.
I am new to your channel, so I'm not familiar with the videos you have made. I'm hoping you have one on how you meal plan for the month.
Thank you for sharing.
Could you do a video on recipes/meal planning?
I would definitely love to see a meal planning video!
Would you post your reciepts or an itemized list of what and how much of each food you got?
You buy excellent food for your family!
Would you share how/what you meal plan?
You are inspiring
Primal kitchen for sauces!! We buy their Mayo, ketchup, spicy ketchup, mustard, etc. it’s all really good! Our fav Mayo is the garlic Mayo! It doesn’t last long but if you want organic, we have found this is the best bc there’s no seed oils! We actually make our own Mayo now and it is not hard if you look into it!
Whew 😮💨 and I thought it was a lot of work shopping for our family of 9, lol.. I mean it IS a lot, but this is humongous!!😂😅
Dont worry what people think.you buy what you can.they dont pay for your food.i love to watch hauls.
Hi, I'm Priscilla, and I am a daughter of a family of 10 and I love how you get your kids healthy stuff, but it wouldn't hurt for once in awhile for them to eat some sugar. God bless you, have a nice day 👋
I have been looking for a safe oats brand. What do you recommend?
Wow thats a lot 😮
Hello! Your videos are such fun to watch. I expected the mass amount of milk, but it didn't look like as much toilet paper I thought there would be. Thank you for sharing!
Beautiful family ❤ what church do you attend?
Wow! Do you use any of that for your daycare business, or is this just the food for your family?
❤ from Iowa
I would love to see some of your recipes that you sun honey for sugar. I've been wanting to make the switch. However, $200 a month for a bucket of honey is so expensive!
Honey is for sure more expensive than sugar however, I’m sure a bucket of honey would last too much longer than it does me it is pretty much one for one on the substitution so I guess just think about how many pounds of sugar you use and that’s probably about the amount of honey you would use.
Costco has great organic tomato sauce and organic diced tomatos as well:)
Thank you I will for sure look for them
What kind of white dinner plates do you use, located in the small cabinet? Where did you get the plates?
They are Corelle and I absolutely love them. They are very thin so you can get stack a lot and they are very strong and do not break as easily as normal glass plates.
You can get them at a lot of stores. I know Walmart carries them. You can even get them on Amazon.
@@RealMomRealSolutionsthank you
I enjoy Corelle plates too, but I get them used at local secondhand stores for about 1$/ plate. Although, they do not match ;)
Fun seeing your grocery haul:). Just a family of four here plus two dogs, which are treated like kids:). I make their dog food monthly and that adds up, but absolutely worth it! Is the beeping your fire alarm?
Thanks for sharing your haul! You do well with your costs. Is that with 12 kids at home?
yes it is 12 kids at home. my married kids come over about twice a week for dinner as well and I do daycare during the day so even when kids are at school we still have 8-9 kids at the house for lunch and snacks. so we feed a lot of people for sure.
What concerns me is your into mostly healthy foods for your family awesome but there’s items that your buying that’s going into landfills like paper towel, baby wipes, diapers unless your using cloth and hopefully you recycling all the boxes from those products and cans etc
The amount of times you said organic! 🤣
I know lol very repetitive and probably annoying. Sorry about that.
Jeepers, then cleaning products and toiletries on top. Fair play that you guys can afford this. It’s incredible but my goodness, you are a busy bee 🩷🩷
I can't wait for the new financial system and the new gold backed currency to come in so inflation will go away. Groceries are so expensive. I like the stuff you chose. Looks really tasty!
Considering how many tummies your filling I don't think it's that much per head plus clean food is much more expensive well done
17kids wow you was busy
If you live in the Midwest I find that Hy-Vee sells a good assortment of organic condiments
I haven’t heard of them but I’ll check them out and see if they are in my area. Thank you for the comment!
Have you used Azure Standard for organic foods ?
No, I have not someone else commented on that as well. I will certainly look into it. I had never heard of it till now.
You need to look to see if you have Azure Standard better prices most everything you have
I have never heard of them before. I will look into it. Thanks for the comment!
@@RealMomRealSolutions you very welcome Hun
I was going to say this too!
Also, I don't know where you live but there is a company called naturally a deal that has bulk food discounted (sometimes a bit past expiration). They have local drops once every 3-4 weeks. They often have organic options😂
You should try Aldi grocery store too. Great organic food and the prices aren't bad...
I will check it out. Thank you!
Thats pretty good compared to the dougherty dozen who spends at 5000 a month n mostly junk food.
Your Costco doesn't have the organic tomato products in the can?
they do have some sauces that are organic but my kids aunt fans of the taste and don't eat it very well. I'm hoping to just figure out a good recipe and bottle my own eventually.
About 3500 .
How do you substitute honey for sugar?
For most foods its one for one
Over time I’ve cut then sugar down in my recipes and now I only use about half the amount. So, honey for me can really be stretched because it is more expensive. This wouldn’t work if you just immediately cut it. But, my kids didn’t notice over time.
Did you know that honey should not be put too much? When heated, carcinogens are formed in it and all useful properties are lost. 😅
I'm pretty sure this was debunked however you do lose some benefits when raw honey is heated over 110 degrees. Hives are naturally occurring 90 degrees plus in summer but over 110 isn't good.
I go grocery shopping twice a month and each time It comes out between $200 to $240
No added sugar because fruit itself has sugar. It's just crazy how some kids snack is like 10g plus added sugars.
Where do you buy the honey from
I don’t know where you’re located the store that I buy it from is called Johns marketplace but it’s only here in Utah and they only have one location. However, I have gotten it from local bee farmers as well and you may be able to find someone like that in your area by searching for them
You should let everyone the size of family based on how many kids at home just incase it's different 😊
How long does this last?
About a month
$300 a month for milk 😮 where do you work?
Do you shop Azures
The word organic was used 22 times!. $30,000 a year on groceries is crazy
Yeah, and there is no difference in nutritional value between organic and regular food.
Where do you get your milk?
A lot of people are against this, but I actually get it from a local farm. I get raw milk. However, I do have to have pasteurized milk for my daycare.
@@RealMomRealSolutions I hope to get raw milk sometime too. That’s awesome you can get 14 a week. I don’t have any friends getting raw milk that get that many!!
Raw milk is the best! @@RealMomRealSolutions
@RealMomRealSolutions it looked raw. Do you make butter and cream when it seperates? We have access to fresh raw from Amish farms around and just welcomed 2 Jersey calves onto our homestead for future dairy needs for our large family!
What does your husband do for a living
He is a CEO of a manufacturing company
what does your husband do for a living?
Probably a corrupt preacher
@@OhHamburgers0258how rude are you?! Totally uncalled for.
He is a CEO of a manufacturing company
@@OhHamburgers0258That was nasty.
Omg how an you afford it
We get it you like organic! No need to repeat yourself. Certain items need not be organic , oranges, for example.
If you can’t afford it just say it
I am one of 10 children and our Dad never let us waste food. He always would eat the kids left overs when he came home from work so it would not get thrown out. Very fugural I Have 5 children and do not like to see any food get wasted when they were little
wait just realized u have 17 kids from one marriage is that right
Yes that is correct
Why? Don’t you shop AZURE
Organic is a gimmick. Products are packaged at same facilities and just organic.
What percent of your income is this?
Cereal only for holidays?
Yes, because regular cereal is super unhealthy for the kids and the organic healthier kind is really expensive so we make it special occasion thing we have other things for breakfast on a regular basis
you get chicken nuggets there not organic make ur own and they will be and i bet there is sugar in them to
1,000.00 this is what I would say you spend
You must have lots of money. Buying organic is very expensive. It is not as healthy as you think. Its good to give them healthy food. But it's sad to not let them have normal food either. I'm 64 years old and I'm healthy. And have neither eat organic
But that is your business
Ok family of 19! There is something so not ok with this 😮😮
This is what kills me organic organic organic.. like make ur pasta make it cereal and your chick nuggets and frozen potatoes gosh looks fancy I suggest umm idk plant ur veggie and fruits. Done
Jeez, are you trying to be rude?
Don’t watch if ya don’t like “organic” 🙄
what time has this lady got ?
