Nice review. After much work on Mezco's website yesterday, I was finally able to secure a preorder but, I must admit, I don't understand sending one of these out to reviewers for an early review. The pre-order was sold out soon after it was available for preorder yesterday and there is a waiting list now. Anyway, I am glad they did send one out for this enjoyable review.
Sadly you're looking at $250 to $375 after market for this. Rumble Society figures are highly sought after and if you don't get them when they go up, you missed it.

He reminds me of those old 70s - 80s Halloween costumes. You know the ones with the vinyl costumes and vacuform masks with the rubber band. The skull and spiderweb on the body along with a skull mask is exactly the sort of thing they would do.
It looks like the tubes for the gas mask can connect in the back where the loops on the belt are, but obviously I can't confirm that. Just a suggestion!
Dude...the awkward skinny proportions, the homemade stitch look, the web pattern and wrist mounts, this makes me wanna see Mezcos take at a homemade type Ultimate Mark Bagley Spider-Man.
I don't usually care much for the more random or "Mezco invented" characters for the one:12 line but this guy looks really cool. Love the look and all the accessories.

Loving this character. Always loved Monster Hunters/Fighters. Possible Story - Sometime ago he was once a mortal physian who was exposed to existence of supernatural horrors that infected the unbelly of the universe and threatended the land of the living. He " survived" his attack by the creature but discovered he was one of the Undead. He was different from others his own will stiill existed. Being technically immortal This put him on a path to travel the world and study the esoteric and eldritch. Learning from socerors such as Atticus Doom he realised he had to shed his own humanity to protect and serve Humanity at large. Through Necro-Almey experiments he became forgot who he once was as a result, left his mortal existence behind to become known as Doc Nocturnal The Phantom Knight stabding sentry over the unsuspecting world defending from unearthly evils.
This figure gave me a lot of V from "V from Vendetta", vives, I know its not anything like V but just the vibes overall, Im sure Mezco could kill it with a V figure. Here's Hoping

Wow! More than any other Rumble Society or even licensed figure (aside from Diabolik and Nosferatu), this one one really make me wish I could afford One:12 figures. That is amazing!
I hate and love the Mezco One:12 exclusives, I would love to have almost all of them at least the Rumble Society and the Gomez ones but I can't get my hands on them unless I'm willing to pay almost 10 times as much on the after market being sold by a damned scalper and I can't, for the life of me, fathom that and I hate it. Even if I was whiling to pay the shipping fee and the import taxes paying twice as much (Mezco only uses private shipping companies and for international shipping those are the worse option), Mezco uses a credit card safety system that doesn't work in my country so I can't even buy their figures unless they decide that with this item they are going to accept PayPal and sometimes they do but even then it's a hassle to be able to get most of the items online. I end up thinking that Mezco thinks about the collectors from the rest of the world as second rate or maybe even third rate collectors that deserve to pay 500USD to a scalper for 90USD figure. Thanks for the review though Robo it looks like a great figure, big hug!!!
And once again collectors outside the U.S.A plus 90% of those in it can only look on knowing unless we part with a kidney we've got no chance of owning this..Thanks mezco..a surefire marketing success.

It's an original character by Mezco Toyz. He doesn't come from a specific comic or series. It's their own IP that they made being inspired by old pulp fiction characters.
This figure has teenager proportions, makes him stick out in a interesting way.
