If you've never heard 'The Invasion', you should know that Green Lantern is about exposing the real deal. I knew this wouldn't be a normal interview when I walked in and saw they had a keyboard set up for me.
Keep in mind, I take my hat off to the true improvisational players out there. I've been around the world and seen some amazing piano/keyboard players. In fact - I've even hired a few of them to play with me at live shows or in sessions.
I taught myself to play by ear, and I was thankful I figured out the chords in time to get an arpeggio going. I posted this video to show that no matter your talent level - it's always important to give your all. People will respond as long as it's sincere.

so my guy used the first 16 bars to find the key and chords... then came up with his own melody and seamlessly transitioned into his own ballad without stopping or restarting the track... those of you hating just dont understand the talent it takes to pull this off.
In my opinion, Your comment is like you commented for everyone... or better yet, the MOST RELEVANT COMPLIMENT this guy deserves. I'm learning the piano at the moment, partly because of him and I have to say the piano isn't something to be debated by those who don't know the keys by name.

@@igbokwenu4934 I play many instruments and 90% of my friends play instruments and all of them can do this. It's nothing special, just looks cool to the outsiders. Takes me around 10 seconds (one loop) to recognize a songs pattern, especially if it's a simple hiphop beat where there are 4 chords and one simple scale. U just recognize the scale, shouldn't take more than 5-10 sec, and then play any note, riff or arp in that scale and woala. Piano is not my main instrument but it works like this on all instruments. Based on your comment I'm sure u don't really know what you're talking about since u think a full verse is a short amount of time to figure out the scale and pattern of a 4/4 chordsprogression lol. Ofc this does not apply to beginners or tonedeaf people, since u need a trained ear to recognize a scale. But with time and practice anyone could basically do this I would say.

while listening i started to cry to this its the melody to me it feels like a story..in the beginning i feel like it talks about someones journey and it starts off rough rock bottom (hence the deep tone to the melody)and as it starts to get louder and more beautifully vibrant the story is continuing on to this happier journey the person is on and he is finally getting their big break..then when it starts to slow at the end the persons journey comes to a end but 1 they are content with...a legacy
