What an amazing diorama! Iâve just started getting into Halo mega construx and did recently grab the Buck ODST.
Okay, just randomly searching up Halo dioramas to see whats become of the Megabloks Halo stuff because I used to have 2 giant Halo dioramas in my room that were both like 1ft Ă 4ft. And watching this video made me really want to fetch all the pieces out of their boxes and make another one because I used to love this kind of stuff but they took up too much room and I had to scrap them. I had these about 6 years ago and seeing as I was 12 at the time, I didn't take any pictures and its a shame really because it was amazing, (in my opinion of course.) The first diorama was a grassy area with 2 small cliffs that transitioned into desert with a Forerunner structure on it. I had scrounged some clear pieces together and made a stand for a wasp to be flying over it. I also put a few tributes to the games like having the aftermath of Noble 6s final stand with him impaled on an energy sword surrounded by dead covenant and marines paying tribute. I also had ODST Buck and Spartan Buck back to back surrounded. In the Forerunner structure, I had the Didact lifting Chief up off the ground using a clear rod and a clip I put into Chiefs back to hold him to the rod. The other diorama was a UNSC base that utilized the sabre launch set with a few terrain pieces I had gotten from some knock off brand. The base had a hangar that had a Mantis in it, a small medbay with a table and the cryo pod Chief was in, and then the battlements with a small tower on it with a small destroyed building across an implied street that a covenant drop pod had crashed through the ceiling and left a crater in it. My brothers called it pointless because it was expensive and I didn't even "play" with the figures and what not but I liked looking at it and I had spent the majority of my life accumulating all the sets and pieces I used as it originally started with the crashed warthog set on a 20 Ă 20 baseplate that quickly spread into more baseplates and more sets. I had kept a piece of the base I built out on a shelf after I boxed everything else up but my Mom accidentally dropped it and knowing how much it meant to me she actually cried. It now resides in pieces along with everything else. Anyway, don't know if anyone actually cares enough to read this but if you do, hi!!!

I just have to say, this video is amazing. I started my mega construx journey, and my journey with this channel from this video. ODST is my favorite game of all time, and this Moc symbolizes it so well. I hope more of these come in the future, and letâs hope this journey can only get better.

Iâve been doing MOCs like this for starwars with legos for a long time but I just started doing megablocs stuff what is the best way to get pieces for halo battles like for landscape
One of the best landscape builders from Mega Bloks is their 'Pyrates' line. They make huge baseplates and terrain pieces that are usually on Ebay :)

Where do you get your figures from
I am doing my own MOC of Halo 3 ODST New Mombasa and I am trying to be as accurate as possible. So I don't remember other ODSTs in game other than Alpha Team. I thought everyone else was blown out to sea. Am wrong? Those were the only ones I planned on using. After that I just had Marines and the NMPD. Your help is greatly appreciated.
No worries mate! The way I see it, there were countless ODSTs that dropped from the carrier so there must have been other survivors. I think that Bungie purposely put no others in the missions was to not confuse you between who were actually members of Alpha 9. That way you could just focus on your squad :)
@@thedomainhalo Okay. That makes a lot of sense. I have some extra ODSTs that I can put in that I can make cannon fodder with the city being overrun with Covenant forces. Quick question. I never saw any Elites in ODST. So it's just Brutes, Grunts, Drones, and Jackles, correct? And can I use the original Brutes that Mega made? The newer design that Mega did in the New Dawn series and Covenant Brute Lance look so different. Do you think I could use both? I defer to you. I have played Halo onlo once in my life. But I love the toys. So I buy them, read books, and do a MOC building series on CZcams. I have always watched SS Motion videos for information. So I will definitely go with your advice. Thanks.
I haven't bought any Mega contrux stuff in ages...I've been pissed with them, cuz the last thing I bought, a Halo Mantis set. There's two angled pieces for the cockpit, but they game me two of the left pieces instead. And there were times where I'd straight up be missing pieces all together from the packages.
