The prequel show is called House of the Dragon and it is awesome. Very much feels like the early seasons of Game of Thrones You should definitely watch it as season 2 will release in June this year. They are also in development on a John Snow series that picks up on what happened after Game of Thrones. Going to be fire.
Fun fact how this all came abou is that Fender created 3 Game of Thrones themed guitars based on the 3 major houses in the show. Tom is playing the House Targaryen guitar, Right of Tom Scott Ian is playing the House Stark guitar and the left of Tom, Nuno Bettencourt is playing the House Lannister guitar.
