- Friends, I am very excited to share this video which covers a full campus tour, hostel life, placements, admissions, and fees and provides insights into many different aspects of college life.
Army Institute of Technology, Pune (AIT) is an undergraduate engineering college affiliated to the University of Pune. AIT is located at Dighi Hills, Alandi Road area in Pune, Maharashtra, India. Only wards of army personnel are allowed admission. The admission is done through JEE MAINS exam. AIT functions under the aegis of the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) and has the seniormost officer of the Indian Army, the Chief of Army Staff of the Indian Army (COAS), as the President of its Board of Governors.

Do the big companies like Microsoft, Google etc come for in campus placements or we have to get off campus for joining those?
Yes, People do get offers from big companies, some companies visits AIT like Amazon, Microsoft, others you can always apply off campus. Student And Training & Placement team are very supportive in that case and help you.

@@AdityaSingh-ed4ik Bahut achi hai colllege life bhi and activities, you even compete with NDA, CME cadets apart from inter college events and go up to national as well. College also appreciate this by adding extra grace marks if you are representing Pune state in sports,cultural or tech.
@Alien reaction Fees has always been a debatable topic, Even I hear a lot of complaints about the fees hike but not sure best way to resolve this. other wise all other things are really great here, placements, hackathons and peer group. you will enjiy.

Do we have to go through josaa counseling for getting admission in AIT PUNE or there is any special counseling of ait pune?
I dont think its required, they take out separate merit list on the basis of JEE score and dates will told on the AIT website. you can attend counselling accordingly and confirm you seats.

I wanted to join indian armed force and was recommended as well but got medical out later, hence choose to move in IT field as it is too very competitive and provide so many good opportunities.

They dont have any reservatuon on caste, a separate merit is prepared on the basis of JEE ranking and that will be all.

I m not up to date with the branch wise cut off, but you will definitely get something in Computer or IT Department. Both branches will give you ample opportunities.
Bhai 45k pe mil jata hai cse easily aur iss saal toh it mein 60 seats bhi badha di hai toh it + cse seats = 240. Mera bhi Aim hai ki mujhe yeh college mile and i hope you also get it. Study hard and lets meet each other in college.
45k pe mil jata hai according to previous year trends and also meri sister issi saal iss college se 4th year complete karke nikli hai unhone bola tha mereko ki 40k tak rank aa gayi toh AIT pakka maan lo computer related branch se.

You will have good chances in SSB when you say you are from AIT college but apart from this its all you and not other special previledge. You will also have a lot of SSB aspirant so can prepare with them.
