Pulling out the outer blocks should break side fans. You'd grow then remove water then push then pull out sides then player could break.

@Jan Sitkowski Technically, it's the beds in the village that spawn the cats. I don't know if villagers are actually needed, other than 1 to say "this is a village".
Also, there's a mechanic where if you end up with too many cats, the iron golems STOP spawning.

Bat farms exist, and are more useless than any other farms.

this is a 2 year old comment, but dead coral fans are used as a substitute to trapdoors in mob farms in BE
I always like to put a dead corals on other players house for no reasons, meaning this is the most useful farms for decors

Potions of slow falling are not useless. They are very useful in the first few dragon fights when you don't have an elytra.
Abram Thiessen they are a debuff in pvp
you can also drink it after you've fallen off the end island, and enjoy your slow fall to doom.
There's actually a good use for slow falling potions when you have elytra, since they allow you to fly slowly around (almost like creative flight) which is quite useful in some cases
I think dragon would just keep attacking u and u wouldn't be able to dodge them because u can't regulate the falling speed.
The reason for the slow falling potions is that it prevents fall damage which is the majority of dragon related damage when you have enchanted diamond armour and allows you to safely ender pearl up to the end crystals.
You can still "fall" faster using more ender pearls if needed to avoid the dragon, but she doesn't attack that often and stops attacking if shot with arrows.
At last Mojang was able to stop Ilmango from making a farm, or was it?

Now the fins are actually useful for TNT dupers :)
But the point still stands, you don't need so many of them as to make a dedicated farm. Even the world eater uses a few stacks at most.
You can place regular corals in the duper and let them die on site.
In the server tour with Mumbo Jumbo, the scicrafters explain that their RNG manip witch farm was once broken by a bat, so they made a dedicated bat farm lol
What about a farm that produces dead corals, then pushes them out on one side into a 1x1 bus, which you can mine in one place, kinda like a smooth stone farm.
This is what I was thinking.
I think the dispenser farm will work if I break the coral fans while they're still alive. just requires a bit of extra logic. But I'll wait a bit to see if dead corals might change.
I'm thinking about the machine at 9:43, you could improve it to push all of the corals into a 1x1 stream, and then have the player at the end of it mining the corals with maybe an automatic pickaxe changer when the pickaxe has low durability.
@@Thexus or just have simple skeleton farm with dogs killing them for you. You get xp that you can use to repair mending pickaxe :) oh, and bones can be later used to fill the dispenser

The phantom membrane ain't useless man, slow fall potions- aside from making the dragon fight a breeze- are a great way to get an aerial perspective in survival mode without needing a 'camera account'! It makes elytra flight almost creative-mode-like, though I haven't seen anyone actually making use of it yet
I litirally just lost my mending Eleytra and repaired my backup with with phantom membrane lol

Yeah, I reported it a while back, on the bug tracker. It's confirmed and unresolved.
use a 2D flying machine and a cube maker with fast pistons at the end of it, similar to the "dead corals are pushable" demonstration. then add a station to return the flying machine. the flying machine returns, then the dispensers are activated again, then repeat. you can get cubes like that, and with someone AFK mining the input line you can get dead corals like that.

I thought this video was awesome, I enjoy seeing ur thought process. Im rather good at redstone and like to invent my own designs, and Thats why I like seeing ur failed attempts, its your thought process that I like!
Maybe you could push out the dead corals between the dispensers and the hoppers with a one high flying machine and somehow either push them into a blast chamber if that works or make them into a cube for easy mining. I'd attempt it if I had a PC, but sadly I don't right now.

You maby could fix this mine cart problem with a water stream and block that is not full, so then the that angle you could hit both. You could have a system that pushes lets the water push you to the other end then you could activate a tripwire or something and it would dispense water to push you back and retract water at the other end. All this work for something that is arguable useless, still fun to think about!

the turtle helmet can also get used to make potions of slow fall and they are realy good
I made a very inefficient design. A dispenser puts down water, bonemeal makes the coral on a hopper, the water is removed, then some time later a piston pushes the dead coral. The player can them just mine the dead coral with a silk touch pick.
XD when ilmango finds out its useful to make tnt dupers, one of the core things in the scicraft server
kelp is the best farm because the dried kelp block is the sexiest block
oh and i think it can be used as fuel for furnace which is cool
Xisumavoid might actually find dead coral farm usefull as he's doing them for decoration on Hermitcraft.
Phantom membranes are nice to have for slow falling potion which is really nice to have when fighting the End Dragon :)

But the elytra offers no protection. I'd rather go with a chestplate and slow falling then with a none protective elytra
Elytra pros: slower falling, easy & fast transport, can be used to get away quickly by boosting of the ground, can get up somewhere, re-useable
Elytra cons: no chestplate, uses durability (but is repairable), requires rockets or a punch bow to boost to somewhere (but not necessary), can't be used on mobs
Slow falling pros: slower falling, no fall damage, can wear chestplate, can be used on mobs
Slow falling cons: slow movement, hard to create, isn't useful when you have to get away quickly, can only go down and not upwards, 1 time use, non-stackable
Personally I find that the elytra is more useful in more situations
The only time I think that the slow falling is useful is in the dragon fight because she hits hard so the extra protection is needed... also a chestplate is nice to have in the dragon fight when you accidentally look at a few endermen as they also hit pretty hard ;)
But that is pretty much the only situation I can think of that slow falling is useful. Well it's the only situation I've used the slow falling so far.
EDIT: Well if she throws you off the end island the slow falling and chestplates extra protection isn't better than the elytra and a couple of rockets ;)

With the dead coral being pushable you could bring it to the player instead of the other way around. That way you could stand on some blocks at the right height and only need to worry about pushing forward the low fans in the back.
If you place a bucket of water next to alive or dead Coral will it block water flow? If so why not use the push ability of coral to create something similar to a stone generator. Bonemeal a water over a hopper. Remove the water. Piston pushes coral to side. Replace water. Bonemeal. Remove water. Piston. Etc.
Turtlemaster splashpotions can maybe be useful for player tnt launchers. If you splash it far enough away, the effect should only last a few seconds.

As you mentioned it, I will not surprise a little if ilmango really make one turtle based bow farm someday.
You can actually use the tropical fish farm to trade with villagers so it is actually quite usefull

It would probably be easier to farm them with live corals and an ice farm type setup for afk placing and breaking the now dead corals in a loop.

And what about beatroot? They are in my opinion the most useless item on the game, can't be used as decoration, isn't used in any potion, and is a terrible food source, even if you spend time and make soups it still just doesn't do anything

It could easily be pushed into storage for single player or not busy multiplayer servers, or you could make it a two person afk farm. Twice the effort for twice the uselessness.

Perhaps if the player is in a boat at a lower level than the minecart is, they can tilt their cursor slightly upwards to break both sets of coral fans
