I don't know specifically thakali style selroti but I have taken Nepali selroti n have it seen it cooked bit brown rather than on yellowish whitish side. N Yes, I have cooked n eaten selroti all my life.

If you search in youtube thakali style selroti than this is how it looks. You must try them. Its the best when cooked in ghee.

This selroti is the best. Very simple receipe yet so so beautiful. Receipe 8cup rice, 1 cup sugar 1cup ghee. I dont like adding banana cloves milk honey roti that makes roti so black and taste not gud. So so gud...
