I like the Day in life...sad English version lyrics, especially with guitar, piano, and trumpet or flugelhorn together as a trio. I am a total sucker for sad songs. It makes me feel more to be in the moment, meaningful. Thank you.
I always knew "A Day in the Life of a Fool" and thought that was actually the name. I never knew "Black Orpheus" was the title. I'd probably like any version if you sing it.
I agree with Lisa, I like sad songs so I like the lyrics of A Day in the Life. But I also like the original Portuguese lyrics, it’s a beautiful language ☺️

I cannot express enough how amazing the texture of the whole production is. Lighting couldn't be better. Color scheme couldn't be better. Piano sounds awesome. The pianist... truely blessed. Everything in balance and well calibrated. I like many stars but you shine the brightest.

Sangah, its not even daylight yet out your window. Nice way to start the day for us all.
The perfection of this improv is so apparent in every way. I do not feel worthy to make even one comment on it, but in keeping with my style, I could not help but notice how much Sangah Noona is in total control of the many aspects that go into making a song sound not only complete but performed impeccably. I've said this before about her playing, and I'll say it again...she has a special ability like none other to keep her timing intact when there are so many other things going on. Like the rhythm of a perfectly tuned engine, Sangah knows and closely monitors the tempo of the camshaft, the crankshaft, the valves, and the pistons, all while turning the steering wheel ever so slightly to steer her passengers (viewers) in the mood direction that she intends to show us. In one word, amazing.
*To me , Manha de carnaval is one of the best melodies ever written. To be honest Brazilian Bossa nova melodies are such expressive and melodic. Your chorus with blues note is so good and original. I love it.*

At some point, I caught myself crying from sadness and delight. I listened a second time - and I began to sob in the same place. It has been a long time since someone's music resonated with me like that. With such respect for the original, played! I don't like it when performers, wanting to convey their individuality, play around in variations and forget about the main melody. Everything is in moderation here. Captured from the first chord and did not let go to the end. Thank you very much for giving me the feeling of happiness!

@@rinzai123 luckily I am still logged in to here with my work iPad because my phone fell out of the snow jacket pocket and it is like a foot of snow on the ground and I cannot find my cell phone. It’s located to a person’s house nearby but they didn’t answer the door. Oh boy. Never lost my phone before so this is a bit crazy.
