literally saved my life bro! Got statistic test tmr and forget how to use the calculator. VMT!
I never thought I'd say this about a video on calculators but...
Beautiful video!
Thank you. All the best.
A big applaud for this amazing man. A big exam life saving video, man. Thank you very much.
bro here carrying the whole society by helping future scientists and engineers
Goat sorting out my A levels for me
Fuhhhh dude. You just save me in statistic class. How to repay you man!!
Just keep watching. All the best.
The Calculator Guide Thank you. I post a few vids to my girlfriend in engineering class. Thank you again man.
The Calculator Guide Why don't people read the manuals these days? The Casio fx manuals of the 1980s and 1990s were fascinating.
Mayur the words are too long
Thank you! I have Statistics test in a couple of days.
Jajajaja I love this calculator, everybody in my class is impressed With it. It's so usefull.
I've got a quiz next week and this video saved my life! - An fx-991EX user :D
Level hy dude😍 really helpful...Chaa gay ho ap to❤
Very informative. Thank you!
Old but helpful. Subbed!
I want to learn this good work
Thank you for this!!!
Very useful thanks.
Great stuff. Thanks.
Exam night, helped, thanks.
Is it possible to enter in summarised data and have the calulator work things out (eg. tell me the SD if it input SigmaX, SigmaY, SigmaX^2, SigmaY^2, SigmaXY, and n) or do you have to enter the data individually? For example, this would be useful for being able to check answers to exam questions if they don't give you the full data..
Thanks!
+TCVidz I believe you have to input the data, but I will look into it.
I use linear interpolation method to find the Q1,Q2&Q3. so the values are different from the calculator. how can i use linear interpolation method to find Q1 Q2 Q3 in calculator for 1--Variable?
Thank you so much 😢😢😢😢
It helps me a lot😭😭😭
that's great, im taking data now
Perhaps I haven't made it far enough in my stats class yet, but what is the different between "variance and standard deviation" and "variance and standard deviation of our sample"? (σ^2x vs S^2x & σx vs Sx) Thanks.
The population variance and sd (represented by σ) uses n, the number of values in the calculation, whilst the sample variance and sd (represented by s) uses n-1 in the calculation.
It is because the sample variance has one less degree of freedom to give an unbiased estimate.
There's a video from Khan academy for more on this www.khanacademy.org/math/ap-statistics/summarizing-quantitative-data-ap/more-standard-deviation/v/review-and-intuition-why-we-divide-by-n-1-for-the-unbiased-sample-variance
thanks so much!
very helpful thanks
Many thanks
thank you man
Thank you!!
Thanks!!
thank you
hi! can I ask, what do you press if you want to find the sample variance or population variance?
On the summary stats page there should be σ²x which is the population variance and s²x which is the sample variance.
If you want to use them in calculations select OPTN and Statistics Calc once you have inputted your data , Then OPTN, down , 2:Variable and they are available in there to use.
@@TheCalculatorGuide thank you very much 🥺🙏💖
Thank you
thank u
thanx
May I ask? what is the symbol for the standard deviation of a sample? I'm quite confused with the sigma and the s.
Yes the sample standard deviation uses an s, so sd. Population standard deviation is sigma, so σd
@@TheCalculatorGuide THANK YOU SO MUCH SIR
How do you use the Calculator Simulator on the video?
You need to download it from the edu Casio site. There is a 90 day free trial and then a yearly subscription.
Hi, how would you input data to find f, fx and fx^2?
+Rahee Ali It wouldn't display these individual, but you can find the sum of fx and fx^2
@@TheCalculatorGuide how?
how do u get the Z area to the left and to the right?
You would need to use the distribution mode. More on this soon hopefully.
Can you store the values of these data in the calculator as a variable?
I don't think so unfortunately.
All the result variables are accessible individually. See page 21 of the User Guide. support.casio.com/storage/en/manual/pdf/EN/004/fx-570_991EX_EN.pdf
OH NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thankssss
can the calculator display the square of each value in the screen ??
for example if we have set of value: 1, 2, 3, 4 can the calculator display 1, 4, 9, 16 like that the square of each value at once ?????
The easiest way would be to use Table. It put your f(x) as x^2, no g(x) Start as your first value and step as your last and increasing by a step of 1. Press equals and it should give you a set of square numbers. You could also use spreadsheet instead.
@@TheCalculatorGuide
Thank you
By the way is this calculator is the latest version
I mean is there more advanced version than fx 991ex that can preform same function ???
and is it legal to use it in PHD studies??
@@blackpanther2109 Don't know what would be allowed in a PHD you would have to confirm with your institution. The fx-991EX represents one of the best scientific calculators you can currently get. If you wanted to go above this you would move into graphic calculators.
How many data entries can be added into a single sample
160 for a single column, 80 for two columns, 53 for three columns of data.
what does s2x means ? please ?
+shashank Gunda It is the sample variance. More information here www.math.uah.edu/stat/sample/Variance.html.
Thanks a milionnnnn :))))
how can used on grouped data?
If you're talking about Classes then you would have to use the mid-point as your x-value. If you are referring to situations where you already have sigma values as with a previous poster, then I'm not sure you can, but will look into it.
How can I do statistics with 2 variables?
They would have to have a relationship such that you could calculate a regression. You could select one of the later choices in the STATS menu to do this. You can only do one independent variable at one time, so you would have to do them separately if they did not have a relationship.
What about grouped data with frequency? Please reply!
You just need to use the mid-points of the groups as your x values
The Calculator Guide but there are frequencies?
You need to make sure frequency is turned on in the STAT option in the Setup Menu
The Calculator Guide a video of this would be great. As this type of maths do come in S1 exams. Thank you.
As soon as I can i will.
may god bless you
how could you do this if you had the data but also frequency
You can switch frequency on in the Setup menu. Shift, setup and scroll down to the statistics option. From there turn frequency on.
@@TheCalculatorGuide you are the fricking best

If you can believe it I am doing an MSc in Safety and Reliability Engineering and this calculator is not allowed. I think the University enjoys living in the dark ages. They should get us to write on papyrus to complete my experience...
That is unbelievable. I think university qualifications take a long time to change/adapt to new technology.
God fucking bless
I thought my calculator was dumb
I hate this calculator. You can not recall the values for you to use in further calculations. Lets say I want to find the standard error by dividing s by sqrt of n. you will have to copy the values manually somewhere and then type it in the calculator. VERY ANNOYING and TIME CONSUMING. a possible source of error too!!
I struggled with this, too, but the answer is right there on page 21 of the User Guide. support.casio.com/storage/en/manual/pdf/EN/004/fx-570_991EX_EN.pdf
If you want to use the values in another mode (i.e. not statistics), just save the values you want into the variables A to F, or M.
