They are going to combine family dollar with dollar tree in same store. Plus they are going to have hardly any name brand for $1.25. I only shop there for the great price and fun finding good brand named items. If it changes everyone might as well shop at the other stores.
I don’t like the price either. They are going to multi line pricing which I also don’t like. So a box of crayons that were 1.25 I saw are going up to 3.00. I think they are making a mistake. I love Dollartree because I can purchase whatever I want and not worry about the price. That won’t be the case anymore. It’s going to be like family dollar which I don’t like. To expensive. I’m in Columbus for the weekend because my grandson graduated the first leg of basic training at Ft Moore and this heat is unreal!!!! Way worse than VA!!! But it’s worth every drop of sweat to get to see my precious young man!!!! It’s been a tough 9 weeks and I’m sure you remember that time Tiffany!! I remember so well when your son left and the other moved out!!! You thought your sweet mama heart would never mend!!! I know the feeling!!! I just went to a Dollar Tree here!! Didn’t find much but got a few things!!!❤

I did some research on Dollar Tree it said they are raising prices again to $1.50 from $1.25 and $5.00 items to $7.00. So, everyone better stock up now. No, I don't work at Dollar Tree (I did part-time like 14years ago.) have to look for the foam hand soap. I have a large collection of hand soaps, but they do get constantly used. Like the light for when we have bad storms, and the lights go off. omg that coaster is right up my alley and I'm old LOL 💮🏵🌹🌺🐞🌼

In fact, a lot about DT has been nagging me wrong - losing a lot of my desire to shop there. 😖 I saw a you tuber test out the voice commands for that light online and it does work. I found some in one of our stores today. Also, the foaming soaps - there are four colors and scents. Haven't smelled them yet, but only bought two. Enjoyed your haul!

Hi Tiffany, Yes the DT's I go to in FL. ,had their shorts, 3pair or more socks and tees 5.00, way back in March when everyone else found the same things for 1.25. We hardly get anything that all the other haulers show .One person said a employee told her that soon all DT's will be called DT Plus. Those dome lights works great, I saw 2 haulers work it. I agree with you ....i do not like the price tag printed on the items...i wont buy things for gift baskets that have those preprinted price labels. Its okay for items i will just use for myself....but as I said not to add into gift baskets for others. 😢

The Dollar Tree I go to is probably the worst at finding new things. The lady that works there told me that if they like something they won’t put it out, they keep them in the back and take them home. She said I’ll never find the scent beads there and also the Twist products that came out recently 😢
I feel like it's almost like there isn't a "standard" across the board for the products through all the stores. The way they price things, breaking up multi packs, etc...there's so much difference from store to store!
I'm sure there will be many more changes at DT as they're selling the Family Dollar stores they own. And here in California they're taking over many of the large locations vacated by the closure of the 99 stores.

Dollar Tree has changed SO much in the last couples years. Went in my local one the other day and they have price scanners in the aisles! Like at Walmart. Because the plus items aren’t just in the plus section anymore, they have $3-$5 items in the regular shelves, gotta look at the price on the shelves now instead of just assuming it’s $1.25..

We bought them years ago when my oldest (who is now 21 ) when he was much younger. I even remember the song on the commercial. Those plates almost look identical!

Regarding price differences…some Dollar Trees are adding the Plus sections, but are getting inventory in before the updates/changes to the store itself.
The sticker is going to hurt their sales. I like to get things at dollar tree to put in gift baskets but I won't buy if it had that sticker on it. It should at least be peel off.
Hey Tiffany... fun haul. Even the basics that you get are fun to see. Love those zoo-ish paper plates. My grandkids would have fun with those. I have to say that the Dollar Tree price of $1.25 for all of the different ramen noodle bowls and such they sell are a great price! So much cheaper than grocery stores and even Dollar General. I pick mine up there all the time... same with Spaghetti-O's... and Chef Boyardee products. There are so many brand name food items that they carry that really are a better deal then grocery stores. (Except if the grocery happens to put them on sale, then sometimes not such a good deal... but on the regular, a very good savings.) Hey, if you do a cook out or pool time, take us with you?? Doesn't have to be a big deal... just some chill time. AND... I have to say thank you for all the videos about cooking Fella's food. I started cooking food for our Bailey and she loves it. 1 lb of ground turkey (from Aldi), 2 cooked sweet potatoes, 2 apples thrown in while the rest is cooking and 1 can green beans. OMGosh, she goes crazy for it. I feed it to her 1 time a day, 1 batch lasts 1 week +1 day, we supplement with dry dog food. Here's the kicker... the wet food mixture lasts the 1 week +1 day... and 2 cups of her dry kibble lasts 5+ days. And she's not gaining weight, not losing weight, and her "poops" are so much less. I'm so thankful that you encouraged us to try it... Really... I am!!! Thank you Tiffany!

As someone who has worked in retail( merchandising) I think that DT has the bonus items and non bonus in the wrong spots accidentally put there by the employees, so they are now putting those stickers on the items so the employee knows where to stock the item( in what isle) so they don't put bonus in the regular 1.25 sections and vice versa.

I seen that bubble bath in my dollar tree for $4.00, but it was located in the regular 1.25 section
As someone who has worked in retail( merchandising) I think that DT has the bonus items and non bonus in the wrong spots accidentally put there by the employees, so they are now putting those stickers on the items so the employee knows where to stock the item( in what isle) so they don't put bonus in the regular 1.25 sections and vice versa.
