In this video, I'm trying to beat Terraria. The twist? It's now a roguelike. We go through dungeons and different rooms, gaining perks and upgrades as we go on. Will I beat Terraria as a rougelike? Or will I fail and die?

Crimson Vessel is the Flesh Prison from Ultrakill. If you don't kill the eyes, it will destroy them itself to regen health before creating new ones. However, almost all the time, the first attack he does balls up all the eyes and tosses it at you. This is the perfect moment to use your melee weapon to delete all the eyes instantly with a fully charged swing. Brass knuckles for extra damage up close as well as the other item that grants 75% extra damage when the enemy is at 90% or more hp guarantees instant death to the eyes. from there, its just dodge and shoot

oh yes, im glad this mod is getting attention and after beating this on blood moon 3 times i still feel like i want to play it because there are many items and each run you can get different builds, this is awesome!
I love how inspired by risk of rain 2 this is, down to the point where the item “Times have been Tougher” does the exact same thing as the RoR2 item Tougher times, but is an acrid plush

Getting overpowered quickly is a key thing in the rouge-like games. Take the splatoon dlc and binding of isaac and just look at how easy it is to get very strong. Having bearly, if any balancing is a way to show you just how strong you are.

i feel like barrier could be reworked as a shield of sorts like it blocks 1 instance of damage instead of a second healthbar but a second healthbar is still better but i feel like you should be able to stack the bariers if it goes past the normal limit just to make it even more overpowered

In my first run, I immediately got a combo of items that caused my sword to do over 2 thousand damage and max out my barrier every time I attacked.
Very cool mod with clearly a lot of effort and polish put into it, but after all the times roguelikes have hurt me over the years, I felt no shame or guilt for beating their painstakingly coded and animated final boss by simply standing next to it and mashing the attack button without dodging any of its attacks

The only problem I have with this mod after playing it, is that 9/10 it’s just way stronger and easier to use the gun making the sword feel useless past the first or second area

the sword is actually an valid weapon cuz you can charge it up to do 400 dmg and i had an perk that made me do an triple shot, and i guess the sword also counted for shots and i did like 1200 dmg cuz of that

okay, this is SO cool, first time playing terraria again in a long time and i get to play risk of terraria, it was VERY fun on my first run, beat the mod on blood moon first try babeyyyy!!! definitely check out the mod of you guys haven't yet, really good

I have played this and my favorite build is stacking iron fists? I think its what they are called, but they give you 75% extra damage if the enemy is over 75% health, and then use the triple damage charge up for the sword and one shot everything
Instigator's fist. Those are extremely powerful for a sword build, especially combined with the nunchucks item, which increases damage when near the target. When charging the sword to 4x, which is shown by the green flash, you can pretty much smash through anything but bosses in one hit.
I got Minigun and Golden Casket combo and basically just destroy everything. Then basically just stack on-hit healing and crit for them and win.
@@yarnicles4616you can make the build even better with the scope thing that decreases attack speed but multiplies your DMG by 6

@@randomguy5638 Yup. It's the sniper scope, and it's great for sudden slams. Also, it majorly decreases how quickly your sword swings, so you could charge it, swing, then run through every target in a line, killing everything.
