The Milwaukee M18 FUEL Framing Nailers set the new standard for cordless framing nailers. By leveraging our nitrogen spring mechanism, POWERSTATE™ brushless motor, and REDLINK™ Intelligence this nailer provides pneumatic performance with the convenience and freedom of cordless. Delivering the power to sink clipped or full round head nails into dense engineered lumbers, this tool can handle even the most demanding framing applications. To keep you productive and efficient throughout the day this tool fires 3 nails per second with zero ramp up time, meaning a nail is fired as soon as you pull the trigger. Additionally, this tool operates using only our REDLITHIUM™ Batteries and sealed compressed nitrogen to drive each nail, completely eliminating the cost of gas cartridges and maintenance associated with competitors’ nailers. The Milwaukee M18 FUEL Framing Nailers deliver the pneumatic performance and durability that professional carpenters and remodelers expect, without the hassle of a compressor and hose or gas cartridge.
    -Zero ramp-up time
    -Tool free drive depth adjustment
-Sequential and contact actuation firing modes
    -Dry fire lockout

I am a factory authorized tool repair technician for 18 different
brands. I repair these types of tools every day.
I am not going to comment on tool quality pro or con so, please don't ask. But I would
CAUTION anyone that plans to buy or already owns a Milwaukee brand power tool.
Take a good clear photo of your tool label, clearly showing
your model and serial number. And then put some protective tape or something
protective over that label. The reason for this is, Milwaukee will only honor
their warranty if you have the serial number and a receipt of your purchase
that clearly shows the date of purchase. They will repair the tool but if THEY
cannot read the serial number on the tool label, they will not honor the warranty.
So, please protect that label and document it while it's still readable.
I say this because we deal with this situation almost daily.
The label on their tools is not durable at all. Not like the old metal labels
on the old tools that had the model and serial stamped into the metal. The new
labels are some sort of thin metallic tape that in normal use it will quickly become
illegible and thus void your warranty.

This is simply not true in my experience. Maybe 3 years from now it will be, when the warranty period for the first of these expires. I have only dealt with Milwaukee warranty one time, but it was a breeze. Called the "sawdust" number. I told them what the tool was and the issue. They said something like, "We're sorry about that. What is your address?" I gave them my info they said the tool couldn't be out of warranty since it was just released 2 yrs ago and sent me a brand new replacement tool, sealed in the box just as the one I bought, with a return label for the broken tool. Total time from call to new tool on my doorstep, 2-1/2 days. No receipt, no shipping charges, no questions asked except what my delivery address was.
You are correct about the labels. They suck. I take photos of all my tools and labels for insurance purposes. Even the batteries. I have a spreadsheet that I update occasionally with new tool purchases with date, model#, serial# and description. I have a stack of all the manuals that came with the tools, but will admit that I have only filled out the serial number block in it 2 or 3 times out of the 100 plus tools I have. I'd better get on that.

@@mikemorgan5015 Consider yourself extremely fortunate because we deal with this issue nearly every day and have been round and round with the company about this ever since they came out with the Fuel models. Although your obsessive record-keeping will ultimately serve you very well, I am sure. Most never take the time and then find out they should have.

    • @oo0Spyder0oo

Then you need your government to make better laws for warranties with these companies. We have no such problem, serial missing or not, milwaukee would be bound to our consumer warranty laws, and also, which usually extends beyond the manufacturers limited warranties due to how much you paid for the item. Expensive tools/furniture/whitegoods etc are expected to last a period of time regardless of their 1 or 2 year warranties. And that also applies to software who are one of the worst offenders with their 'you opened it so you can't return it' approach, they can't do that here. Make them accountable and watch how much better the tools get.

I’ve have very little issues with jambs or misfires doing this. This gun obviously dose not require internal lubricant but I’m wondering if I should keep the magazine track/slide and the firing head lubricated. Let me know your thoughts.

My pneumatic nailer with 21 degree nails makes a lot of trash plastic on the floor, and sometimes peaces of plastic strikes in to my face or hands, and sometimes they are stuck under the nail, it is not looking good. Why do you think they’re better? I think the exact opposite

I went from a passcode nail gun to a compressor run Bottich nailer and the first thing I noticed was that I was getting hit in the face with the little pieces of plastic coming at ballistic speed the nails are the same, 30 degree gets into tighter spots. I strongly disagree and just ordered the 30 degree Milwaukee

Tom Murphy i have the metabo plastic gun, its really good BUT those little plastic pieces CAN hurt if you’re hit in the wrong spot from them I would MUCH prefer the paper tape gun over the plastic collated nails.

Milwaukee is a great gun but at 11.1lbs I'll take the 7.2lb Pasload.

That’s the hard part, I’d like to replace all our Paslode framing nailer’s but they’re so much more ergonomic and lighter to use all day than the new Milwaukee guns, even though everything else I have is Milwaukee

@@ukayhemi6385 hey, so I have bought a few of the Milwaukee nailer‘s by now and I can tell you they are wonderful! But the framer is significantly heavier in the past load, and to be honest I’m upset and how heavy in the walk is, but the 18 gauge Brad nailer is by far the best, I just made this video :

This gun know nothing about tools. Regular charger said rapid charger. That's not how you do business. You do not even know the tools
