Wicked video dude, I needed something to remind me of which way the ypvs rotatates and returns when setup and this has helped me a lot. What tires are those by the way?
Well the green and black wire is earthed to the frame mate I put the exhaust system on last night but haven’t been out for a ride yet to test it out I’ve ordered a new chain and sprocket set because the ones on my bike are 47 rear 13 front and they are 520 pitch so I’ve ordered a standard set 16 front 57 rear
Hi peter went out last night to try the exhaust out got 73 mph out of the bike so definitely noticed the improvement just wondering if I should do the same as you and up jet the carb , I’ve ordered some standard sprockets and will see if that makes any difference, are you running the standard sprocket setup mate
sorry i didn't see the reply... anyway i have 15-57 instead of stock 16-57. in my case in summer the standard jetting is pretty much ok, but in winter i need to upjet a bit (just made a video on this). it is all related to the clime in your place. take a look at the spark plug, if the electrodes are white then you need to upjet!
@@petertoridechannel9361 How is that possible? 2 strokes don't have oil bath, the get the oil from the gas, I don't know 2 strokes to have oil bath, exepct the transmission one.
@@ovidius9862 are you serious? Most of the Street 2stroke engines like yamaha dt, aprilia rs, husky wre/sm, sachs zz/zx, KTM lc2 have an extra oiltank and -pump so you can just fill gas in your gastank without premixing.

when the ypvs is open it should aline with the hole thats on the top of it
i mean the blue plastic should aline with the hole in the cylinder

Man, you cant do that engine breaking with 2t engine. It can damage the engine.
i have the oil pump so the right quantity of oil is always getting into the cilinder, even with the gas closed!

how tall do i need to be to ride a dt125r?
seat height is 885 mm. if you are 165-170 cm that should be enough
