SETH ! I actually bought those Union 1s at 2nd street (the security guard tweeted @ you when I copped) and brought them to district one where they told me they were fake 😭😩💔.
Too bad. AJ1 Union is very high quality fake, I have the same fakes. The only way to spot them is the spacing on the yellow stitching. It should be bunched up somewhere halfway on purpose, and you can clearly see those one here the spacing is the same the whole way through. I’m still going to rock them but I will not buy them or resell them for so much money

Still find it amazing that the fake UNLA J1s actually had question marks on them by two sneakerheads. Back in the 2000s fakes sneakers were obvious 7 blocks away in heavy fog with a paper bag over your head, but nowadays it's a question mark even on close inspection. Scary.
only scary for resellers. this kind of thing should not be scary. the sneaker is virtually the exact same. if you’re buying because you like the shoe and want to wear them then it shouldn’t matter at all.

The fact he can't tell the Unions are fake, just goes to show, that reps nowadays are the way to go. Mid to high tier reps are basically spot on when compared to retail and no 'sneakerhead' would be able to otherwise.
He’s knows they’re fake it’s for entertainment purposes lol. I’m not a full blown sneaker head and could spot those as fakes immediately
@@skulled9548 Trust me when i tell you most 'sneakerheads' have 0 idea whats retail or rep. My entire collection is now rep, because resale prices for retail shoes is stupid. I 100% guarantee, you would not be able to tell any of my shoes apart from a retail pair. The value of most Jordans is only because of hype, the materials used by Nike on Jordans is average at best and with how near identical reps are nowadays, you cant tell the difference. Its so crazy that rep panda dunks are actually better quality than retail panda dunks.

I feel what you’re laying down. I think this also highlights how far fakes have come along. They make you second guess the reality of what you’re seeing, especially if you aren’t legit check shoes yourself on the regular.

It's been a minute since I've been back to visit NYC. I'm not shocked with the amount of great J's available in those thrift stores. Here in Vancouver BC Canada we wouldn't even come close to having all those options. Great video...Bless Up Brother 👊🏽

The good thing about NYC thrifting is that you always find golden stuff for SOOOOO cheap. I kid you not, I went thrifting the other day and saw a genuine pair of Cactus Jack 4s for ONLY $75!
I ended up crying myself to sleep that day because they were a size and a half too small for me 😭😭😭

Those unions are fake. The yellow stitching under the UN/LA tag should be closer together and then spreads out more towards the back of the shoe. This pair has the yellow stitching even all the way around which is 100% wrong

The union ones are reps the v in the collar and the elbow are not stitched correctly the stitching material is not factory and the sizing is not correct at all beware those are not factory therefore not authentic
What was the real name of those Jordan 6's at 15:25? Those aren't UNC"s by any means, but they're also not cool grey's because of the pearlescent blue finish... Please, if anyone knows the colorway, lemme know.
