      Patrick Junior - The bottomless pit (abyss) will be this decimated earth, which the plagues and power of Christ’s 2nd coming will have wroth. Every city will be destroyed and flattened, and the earth will become without form and void because all of unsaved will be laying dead all over the earth. The unsaved will be in the pit (prison) of death, and Satan & his angels will be left in the pit (prison) of the destroyed earth. This is their first punishment and the lake of fire (after the 2nd resurrection of the damned) will be their final punishment, as it will destroy all evil doers eternally, as well as all SIN, death and the grave. There are only two outcomes - eternal life or eternal death. God never promised eternal life for the wicked in a perpetual place called Hell. Sin and all sinners, the unredeemed, will be no more. It will be as though they never existed. All evil will then be totally and forever eradicated from God’s kingdom.

    Wonderful sermon. A pity that despite the clarity of the truth presented and the fact that this sermon could literally save a life and bring someone to Christ with the truth of the gospel some would rather lace the comments with "foolish and unlearned questions" which we are counselled to avoid, "knowing that they do gender strifes." I'll call it a love song for you
      And who knows
      I'm liable to take a song from the Bible
      And then when I'm through I'll just sing
      Love lifted me
      Love lifted me
      When nothing else would do
      You know love lifted me
      Everybody is looking for a way
      To say something nobody's saying
      But that's hard to do
      They're searching their mind
      Trying to find one of a kind way
      That they could find something new
      So I'll just sing

    Dear brother Batchelor,
    I have a couple of questions for you. You in your sermon used 1 Timothy 6:10 from the New King James Version (NKJV) which says:
    For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
    The King James Bible says:
    For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
    Notice that the King James Bible says the love of money is the root of ALL evil. The NKJV in saying "all kinds of evil" is implying there is some evil the love of money isn't the root of. I would like to know what the root of ALL evil is. If it's not money, what is it?
    You're pretty consistent in using the NKJV and yet you use the name Jehovah around 32:30. The name Jehovah doesn't occur at all in the NKJV. Where did that come from? Is there some other Bible I should be looking at and which is infallible? Is there an infallible Bible?

    • @TheDaddyNanny
      @TheDaddyNanny Před 5 lety +1

      Martin Lohne evil can be done within the heart, money not needed to hate another, money not needed to look upon another lustfully, and the I think jehovah another name of God in hebrew but is not the only name

    • @martinlohne5128
      @martinlohne5128 Před 5 lety

      @@TheDaddyNannyIf you believe in an infallible Bible, one version or the other one has to be correct. They don't both say the same thing.
      We're talking about the "root" or the beginning of all evil. Money can mean other things than just coins or paper bills; it can mean affluence. Satan wished to be like the Most High; in other words he coveted what was not his. Solomon's waywardness started with wealth and the fact that the Scripture documents that he taxed the people heavily, shows that he had a love of money or wealth. That led to other sins in him and others such as lust (you can read on page 58 of Prophets and Kings that he became "effeminate"). I'm sure you know what "effeminate" means.
      As for Jehovah being a name for God, you are correct but that name does not appear anywhere in the New King James Version (NKJV). If you are going to say the NKJV is the infallible Bible fine; then stick with it and don't resort to quotes from some other bible whenever it suits you. I will tell you very plainly that you cannot call the NKJV anything close to an infallible Bible if you are a Seventh-day Adventist.
      If I were to quote from whatever bible I chose out of the thirty plus bibles used in Seventh-day Adventist publications or sold by the Adventist Book Center I could support doctrines such as rightousness by works, the eternal virginity of Mary, the consciousness of the dead, penance and other heresies. If someone has the right to pick and choose between various bible versions because they "like what it says," why shouldn't I have the same right?

    • @TheDaddyNanny
      @TheDaddyNanny Před 5 lety +2

      Lol take it easy dont get your panties in a bunch, just making a comment, I gots question myself, I think everyone does but if you want answers I believe they would be answered if you are humble of getting the truth period,, maybe we should pause from talking to men , and talk to the one who can bless us with truth so we may be lead to truth by His Spirit and not satan's spirit, because yeah anyone can have their own truth but not everyone wants God's truth lead only by His Spirit

    • @martinlohne5128
      @martinlohne5128 Před 5 lety

      @@TheDaddyNanny If you want answers to questions, you need to know where to go to get the answers. Those answers aren't going to come from God by visions, dreams, impressions and feelings when the questions have been already answered in His Word. The problem is that few seem to know what His Word is and few seem to care.
      Besides using the name Jehovah for God another name used in the sermon was Yahweh. Where did that come from? It didn't come from the New King James Version or from the King James Bible. It could have come from the Jerusalem Bible (JB).
      The JB is a Roman Catholic Bible used for some of the readings in the back of the Seventh-day Adventist Hymnal. That is a bible that says in 2 Samuel 21:19 that Elhanan killed Goliath. That contradicts 1 Samuel 17:51 and 1 Chronicles 20:5 in the same bible. It's also one that says in James 5:16 to "confess your sins to one another." That contradicts the statement on the first page of the chapter titled "Confession" in Steps to Christ where it says, "Confess your sins to God, who only can forgive them, and your faults to one another."
      If I thought the Bible wasn't infallible and I could make it say anything I wanted why would I bother studying it?
