- A trigger finger is a very common and treatable problem. It can occur in both fingers and the thumbs, which have tendons that help them to bend. The flexor tendons that bend the fingers have a lining on the outside. A condition in which a finger gets stuck in a bent position and then snaps straight. A trigger finger occurs when the tendon in the affected finger becomes inflamed.

Can we play piano while having this thing. I mean i got this clicking problem in my middle finger last year. While I started practising piano for likea kinda 3-4 hour daily. So I left practicing it... And dint try. Close fist for some day... After a while or actually in few days it problem kinda converted into something else Now there isnt any trigger finger kinda problem(clicking) but now I just cant bend my middle finger full way at all. 😊 So after a year I made up my mind to fix this problem since I wanna play piano again. Basically I can play without much problem but cant curvey middle finger as I might prefer ...so have to play in between black keys for some scales or notes. So I am thinking this not gonna damage it further ..right? Or I should resolve the problem first? 😊 9:42

I get randomly stage 2 trigger finger (once or twice in 6 months) but I have no pain...I work a lot on computer, is there any explanation to my condition.
