- Ghost Club SG receives information from netizens that there are paranormal occurence at a row of abandoned HDB blocks and undergo an investigation trip to find out more about these rumours
I honestly think those music is not needed. It cover the background noise too much.
they should not abandon this beautiful flats.. They should renew it. Nowdays it hard to get a flats in singapore since there alot outsider buying our flats. So why not this "abandon flats" do some renovation? In woodlands area there is a flat call red flat. That flat was been abandon long time ago because of a murder cases (if anyone know about the case & the flat). But now that house already some resident stay in.. why not in here? it a cool flat. Singaporean nowhere to stay.. Some of our singaporean is homeless now because not enough flats. We are soo homeless.. All the new flats mostly owned by foreigners.

My Uncle and Aunties used to stay in those very old and haunted HDB flats. Thank god, it was being pull down. According to my cousin, she saw a hand closing one of the window in a abandoned unit. And they were the only resident staying in that empty block.

The HDB Should sell them cheaper for takers to make into pilot scheme. Buy 3 lots and break down the walls. Rather idling and let them rot. Can even recreate them into Palacial Residency. Sell them cheap surely there will be keen takers.

And can briefly describe the state of the blocks, and were you the last one in the block to leave or the last one in the estate to leave? Were the gates and lifts shut down shortly after your family vacated?

i lived there before and its actually it is haunted when me,my mom and my dad were lying down at our bed and whatching tv,our bedroom door was opening and closing itself.(we share bed and bedroom)

Guys I know u have lived there b4. But when free make a trip there at 2.13am. Look at the middle block which I forgot what Blk number the crossing. Which connects the two buildings together. At the top and middle.
Hello Ghost Club SG investigators, I saw your video in which you have many comments about the place is strange, the design is weird, why people wanted to stay there? etc. please bear in mind that the flats were the first generation of HDB flats and thousand of people had stayed there including me who stayed there for over ten years. So I mean please keep your own personal opinion to yourself, you can't compare there old flats to the current modern HDB flats design.

Chua Wei Peng Random I also did not really understand the rational for the H shape design of their block, but anyways these blocks were completed in 1973 and were built by the Jurong Town Corporation (JTC) before HDB took over the management of flats built by the JTC in 1982.
One thing that those block reminds me of is the smell of the rubbush chutes in between houses at the first floors..Tanan Jurong is well-known ghetto lands..of Singapore..i think i knew that malay girl ..her name is Ani ..😁😁 used to live on the 3rd floor i think

Actually Its not abandone, the govenrment took over for upgrading of area....the tenants have to vacate , yes? Abandone and vacate are 2 different things

I grew up from this area.... We are a few last family that left the area.... What scared me more are stray dogs

I lived in one of those blocks. They were initially built by JTC. Not HDB. JTC is very bad at building flats because they give a lot of space per flat, hence they were taken out from building flats.

But now, it is replaced by new HDB flats and I think it is demolished first then they build the new flats. The are blocks like 160+. There are also blocks 63, 64, 65 and 66.

Up next will be the abandoned old Yishun Primary School building that is still not be demolished since 2009. It is sit right next to Ahmad Ibrahim Secondary School. I believe it will be the next haunted building in the future.

Hykel Morris one of them is Blk 7 I believe. Blk 7 is the only with the single sliding door lift manufactured by Fiam but having a refurbished cab to such a blue interior.
i used to work for SP meter reading... I rem once in 2012 i went there for meter reading.. i kept feeling that someone is looking at me from my back and esp from inside the house...
Err no this is not the block where the film is being filmed. The block is located a bit further away. Both of the blocks have been torn down. New blocks are coming up in this area as of now.

Is that the green houses at Boonlay blk 167 - 172? Because the street view shows still got people living in 2015 and it's demolished in 2018. The other HDB also H shaped in red and blue in colour looks abandoned.

Used to stay in the same type of flats in the 80/90's era. Blk 127 in taman jurong. Near the church.
Omg... i stayed at blk 133 until 1991. We cld have played with each other at the giantic playground and courtyard. There was a merry go round and do you rem there were open air night movie screenings.
Why don't you go there at 12:00am (Night) with no one with you and see if the corridor is more interesting.

Hi. Just notice of your video of Blk 9 & 10. This is a very good resource. Why don't you people install infrared cctv and motion detectors and moving cctvs. I am sure that the results would be very much effective.
actually sometime theres a cleaner who clean up the blocks, he sleep there...thats what we find out

The story is........I was going home to my sembaway condo house with my Sister. then,I found a led of a pencil wich is blant but when I took it..... I felt someone trying to snatch it from me...... I know something was not right so I just took it back home. I realise a little girl behind me. I turn and the girl was my sister and she was posses! She shout at me to give it to her and I did. She ran away to the pool when I gave it to her..... She ran n grinn.... Thats all

I missed this place.its my childhood area where i used to hang out but i dun stay there,my frens are.still remembered,their toilet was divided in 2,1 side shower n d other was d toilet bowl n there will b always centipede in the toilet n its huge.what i like abt d house was its combines to the next blk.this area frm blk 10 behind onwards blk 6 was always black area
I lived there when I was young at the age of 7/8 years old. It's a waste that you didn't get anything except for the tapping sound. Should come over in the wee hours like 2 or 3am in the morning. I bet you'll find something more interesting than syringes or satanic logo drawings on the wall. Thanks to you atleast I can keep this as a memories. (:
I used to stay in block 8. This area is under SERS enbloc n all the residents have shifted out instead of "abandoned". fYI

a friend of mine told me he and his friends had gone to explore and apparently one guy who believed to have a 3rd eye saw something and began to act strangely.when told to leave he didnt want to.he stood his ground.this guys is really thin about 50kg. it took two guys one about 50kg the other about 90kg to bring him away from the place.the bigger guy had to slap him and the guy awoke as if in a trance of some sort. day after he had a fever which lasted over a few days

Rather let the unoccupied flats withered away why the homeless didnt get their occupancy there? The HDB should build them a communal bath and toilet. Once humans landed the spirits will vacate or relocate themselves.

Construction done by JTC in the early 60s, for the heavy industry workers. Only taken over by HDB in early 80s.
Pike Yeo correction, these flats were completed only in around 1973, but you are right that Hdb took over the management of hdb flats in the early 1980s. To be precise, it was in 1982.

MMTV Entertainment HDB seems to have some protocol that for any en bloc site, as Long as there’s a resident living there they will still leave lifts on.

Evolution These flats was marked for redevelopment and is not being maintained and is old the first place as well, and as such is falling into a state of disrepair. They were supposed to move into their new flats but could have delays in doing so due to various reasons.
Why is this HDB flat abandoned? They are still good....

mimiey Irwann I know right, the government only gets rid of the old and leaves very little room to preserve. All H shaped flats (with the lifts in the middle of 2 blocks) are extinct by now, because the last ones of their kind at Boon Lay drive were demolished by last year.
My aunt used 2 live there at blk 5 in the mid 80s...

bro..i used to be from a neighbouring school there. a question though..did u guys explore the area entirely? the playground area? cuz t here's this big tree there. under the tree..there are some really freaky and scary statues..idk what they are.. and drugs alot..i managed to enter one of the first floor houses..there were sryinges and ciggs everywhere..and the people had shit in the living room..like a pile of shit bro..

@GHOST CLUB SG, im still confuse about this yung an abandoned flat. coz 2days ago (08072016) i went to boonlay drive, the flats look the same as the yung an abandoned flat. So is it the same flat they just refurbished it or it the same architect that build the flat? im still wondering about it.
Yes, they have been upgraded once under the Main upgrading programme in the 1990s, but they were built to the same H shaped design by the Jurong Town Corporation back in around 1973 (and the management of these flats taken over by the hdb in 1982). Sadly those blocks you visited are now being demolished, with the last of the blocks in the estate locked up in June 2017, and demolition starting early this year.
