    Good video, can i just mention, the pickup cover pops off so you can take the gauze completely out and clean it.
    Also if the pick up is completely blocked, then it is strongly advised to replace the vac pump too.

    I think there should be a list of the manufacturers that have installed wet belt engines, which models if not all? Ridiculous set up!

      Salut. Ma bucur ca ti-a placut videoclipul. Si te-as ruga sa dai un like si subscribe pt asta.

    My Partner has a 2024 Crossland as a loan car while her Outlander 2.2 Diesel is in for Clutch replacement, I'm almost sure the Crossland is the 1.2 110 PS engine code EB2DT. Does this have a Chain cam and resolves this issue ?
    I have to say I am very impressed with this engine, sounds good and got all the power you really need.
    I have a VW id3 with largest 77 Kwh battery and my PCP is up in October, I have to pay 18,000 Euro's to own it but I am thinking of getting a cheaper petrol because I will never pay 41,000 Euro's to own any car again especially Electric. I have 77,000 trouble free kms but the problem is recharge times on long trips and lack of proper high speed chargers in Ireland and driving EV is cool in the beginning but it's lifeless, no fun and no driver engagement at all.
    I like the crossland except the sloppy gearbox.
    The crossland is expensive and costs more than I would like to pay for such a car but can anyone tell me are the petrol engines good in the Dacia's or the KIa Cee'd ? or whatever car has 3 cylinder petrol of good power that is reliable ?

    • @mihaimechanic
      @mihaimechanic  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Hi. I think the 2024 crossland still has the same engine with the same wet belt. About the Dacia and Kia , they are reliable , in my opinion.

      @@mihaimechanic Thanks for the reply, looking at Kia Stonic and Renault Captur although the petrol non hybrid Captur is only 90 Hp. Shame but I really don't want to go back to hybrid or EV again. I think the 1.0L in the Stonic is 100 Hp, that's all the engine you can get in Ireland. I think they have a more powerful auto but don't want auto again.

    How match NM of tightenings... And why you cut a lot of important moments when it's hard instead of showing us solutions..!?

    • @mihaimechanic
      @mihaimechanic  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Hi. Sorry but I shouldn’t give you the nm as this could differ from one engine code to another this info you should get it yourself from Autodata or any other similar source . And about the moments you mentioned, what can I say , I am a mechanic, not a professional film maker, I just do my best to show as much as I can , these videos are made on jobs I do for costumers and I also have to finish them in time. I also work alone . So, sorry if you didn’t like it , but if you did liked it please like and subscribe. Thank you.

      @@mihaimechanic My car is a 2020 Crossland model with over 60,000 km, and I have regularly had it serviced at an authorized dealer. There haven't been any issues with the oil pump or timing belt components, and the dealer hasn't mentioned anything about changing the timing belt. Should I have it inspected?
