Doom's Eye when it shows up actually comments as I hoped he would when he appears before Shadow here. when he says "The promised time comes once more", its suggesting that this is not just Black Doom being plucked from the past like many of the bosses in the original Sonic Generations. This is Black Doom more or less back from the grave.
Could also be possible that he has remained dormant inside of Shadow this entire time.
As long as Shadow lives, so does Black Doom.

Your theory could be possible. Considering that Shadow's blood is from Black Doom, it would make sense that Black Doom would return. We'll just find out when the game is out.
I noticed Biolizard's weird egg appendages looked pretty similar to wings as well.

The one remix used here is actually the remix made for the 3DS version of the original game, idk if it will change to a new one or not but you cam search it up in high quality if you wanna
@nan0smm646 listen a little more later into the fight, it seems they added more to it than just the 3ds remix (which already went hard anyways).

They really can remake some great bosses and Stages out of that game.
I made an entire review of that game and gave it a bunch of praise. It's easily one of my all-time favorite Sonic games.
Even with its faults I enjoed it too. There was still so much left unanswered after SA2 and the guys at SEGA and Sonic Team wanted to give Shadow his own starring role almost from the beginning. I'd say the game was a success.

I was kinda worried they'd use Final Horizon's level design as a base for the new Shadow levels in this game. But the bits I've seen look pretty good.
I love how Shadow does not homing attack enemies, he Chaos Controls and then kicks them
From what I’ve been noticing, it might be possible for him to do both in this game. Maybe it’s upgradable ability?

Gameplay is great, but I agree it’s so off putting seeing the graphical quality of the shadow campaign mixed in with the outdated look of vanilla generations.
Saga has really taken the effort to make Sonic the hedgehog fighting mechanic better than before, straight up dbz like fighting style baby, credits to the saga team!

Shadow’s campaign is honestly gonna be the main course of this remaster and generations itself just feels like the appetizer
I had wondered for years about what Shadow and even Silver had to be doing leading up to their encounters with Sonic in their respective boss fights, considering. With Eggman muscking up space/time on this level, it only stands to reason certain other things that happened would be tossed into the mix even if Eggman didn't intend for it to happen. That seems most likely why Crisis City even existed in the PC/360 version of Generations since Eggman wouldnt even be aware of Soleanna's fate in that doomed future since Sonic reset time in Sonic 06. Not to mention I had often wondered that somehow against all odds the Black Arms might have been brought back by accident due to Eggman's unwillingness to take into account the repercussions of his more ambitious schemes.
Makes me think we will fight mephiles either that or silver will get his own campaign and were gonna be fighting against his enemies.
@@jacobweatherford4696 I dunno about a Silver campaign, unless Hideko is as willing to take suggestions like he was for Frontiers.
Thats fair they could also do for mephiles what they did for shadow and make a stage thats solely for his fight hopefully something that incorperates elements from all his previous fights but that also makes his battle a race.

I'm really excited for that Ark level, I hope they made a new remix of The Ark/Final Rush and this seems like a mashup of important Ark levels in Sonic games, just watch and you can tell there is Final Rush, Final Chase, Crazy Gadget, The Ark, Eternal Engine.
It would be nuts if there are act 1 and 2 and both are this kind of full tour within the space colony ark, mixing everything into one pack of level.

So cool that Black Doom is back! Voices aren't my favorite but I can look past that.
I'm quite frankly looking forward to playing this I know radical highways gonna be played is going to be the top tier favourite of playthrough but I wonder if we are still going to play the other villains besides the time eater and the Bio lizard
The physics on the building slide are looking smooth af. everything else looks as if it plays on rails. No way to know until I get my hands on it, but overall the game is looking decent
