You are not short, you are petite. Yes, we all shrink a little as we age. You are not big boned, you are in proportion for your height. Garments need to emphasise our good points, not cover them. So I am so with you on the slender sleeves and the untucked yet tucked in look. Looks good Bobbi!

I like how you finished your Asterie. I knitted a garter stitch sweater recently, and when I got to the end I didn't feel like a ribbed bottom and cuffs would suit, so I ended with an i-cord and it looks great! As for bobbles, here's a tip to keep them in place nicely and perky...once you've completed the bobble, "strangle" it, by wrapping your yarn around it clockwise fairly snugly and continue knitting...works great 😊

i knit the Kuutar sweater and I use it ALL the time, I love her patterns, the shawl is going to be beautyfull. I've also knit a lot of her socks. Magnolia is by a danish designer and I'm also danish so I've knit many of her patterns, they are lovely. I just discovered your podcast, it is lovely

Hi Bobby I love your choice of sweaters to knit, you have such great taste! I’ve not heard of the Asterie or Lagos but they are definitely being added to my queue. I haven’t actually knitted a Sari Nordlund sweater yet but I have yarn and patterns for the Poet, the Collette pullover and the Kuutar tee. I agree she is very talented.
“ short” is also a proportion issue. I am just 5’1” but as my height is in my legs I wear regular length pants - petite pants are too short. This means my torso is “ short”. Lots of clothing companies don’t understand this - we are lucky we can knit our sweaters to our proportions!
