PFT best point ever, the only reason for spikes is when you need an anchor while twisting, not just casually walking a course. The caddies also absolutely do not wear spikes... DAmn i love foreplay but they r so wrong sometimes
I haven't worn golf shoes to a tournament, but tbh spikeless golf shoes make sense. They are shoes that meant to be comfortable with standing and walking all day, and are waterproof if the grass is wet.

Side note on slow play, why do courses not designate tee times for people who don't want to play 5 hour rounds? Just schedule a couple hours in the morning where the expected pace is 3.5 hours or less. If your group can't keep up than you are forced to skip the hole. If everyone is expected to play in 3.5 hours than there are no arguments when the starter forces you to keep up with the group in front.

Worst golf guy is the guy who thinks he's good... takes the game way to serious for a 7 handicap, and then gets mad every single shot because he didn't hit it perfect. Can't stand that shit, the more I play with + and scratch guys the more you realize that good golfers don't give a shit about bad shots, they go find it and save par.

If you were a caddy and a golfer made you shoot the distance and for example you said 138 to the pin and then they either hit way short or sky it over the green as if they were expecting to nail the distance is one of the worst golf guys.

I don’t believe it’s everyone not understanding how the system works, and I don’t believe everyone thinks you are lying about the number that comes OUT of your handicap app....I think most of your detractors would agree that it’s quite evident that the bullshit numbers are the ones you are putting INTO the app.
