Your makeup skills are amazing but I think your tutorials focus a lot on western looks. We should embrace our Asian features instead of making ourselves look more western. Asians are just as beautiful as other races.
this is true...but also the beauty standard is so narrow in asia, so it's difficult in general to think of enhancing those features as desirable both as a person and in terms of society... to be honest I actually wish I could afford double eyelid surgery and a nose job but I do wish we could embrace a wider range of features...asian celebrities all have the same look to me vs western celebs and it's very discouraging not to see "my" face in any of the asian models but identifying more with the asian models in the west...sorry if I'm not conveying myself well
