Each month, Metro finds hundreds of items left behind by people traveling on its buses and trains. If you’ve lost something, check out our Lost & Found facility. Here's the three step process to claim your item(s):
1. Report your lost item at www.metro.net/lostandfound
2. Give a detailed description of the item and where it was lost
3. Wait 3 business days before you visit the Lost & Found office

That girl with the Iphone 6 should have had some sort of gps tracking app or service on it. Also any item that is lost in public and is worth more than 500 dollars, needs to be reported and filed with the police.
