This was my first run with my new Carisma Scale Adventure ATSS 95mm tyres and the beautiful 1.9inch alloy wheels and as you will see they both did great 👍🏼
My wheels arrived yesterday, but I haven't chosen the tires yet. Hmmm, Those seem to perform really nicely! So now I've ordered a set, and a different set for comparison. I was disappointed with my SCA-1E Range Rover to begin with, but now have found that the steering was connected to the outer most position on the knuckles, so gave very limited movement. 19point turns were a thing!!!!! But after changing to the inner holes things have improved, not as much as I'd like, but quite a bit.
And then I discovered the steering adjuster on the transmitter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DOH.
Great video Mike. It's a shame it doesn't show just how steep that last climb was. It's a good job I was there to "deliberately" show how not to do it 😜😂😂😂😂😂😂
I’ve been running them ever since they came out and they are great, they take a beating and when parts do wear as they do with any Rc car, they are easily replaced or upgraded.
On this set up there’s no additional weights, I normally run a bit of weight on the front wheels, but in this set up I’ve lowered the body and softened the suspension up, no other mods to the chassis so you can see how it can run near enough stock.
The right tires and suspension settings make all the difference!

How satisfied are you with the SCA-1E. You have it in the base or some tuning. It's durable or you've already had to change parts (chinese model)

Did you change the shocks or are they stock? Mine does not have that much flex like yours. They were getting stuck
I have the shocks set really soft, from memory they have 40wt oil in them too
What part have to you used for the metal steering linkage? And are those stock shocks? Thanks
Shocks are stock mate, metal steering links are from ACs RC

Is the suspension the same as te rtr?
No mate, the kit version comes with slightly different shocks with more adjustments options

the chassis is stock with no weights, just lowered the body and the suspension is as soft as I could set it
Super grip I've just bought one myself how do you get it to not flip over I presume you add weight if so please where too and loved the video

Grab the tyres on their own mate, the wheels are pricey because of the licensing, that’s all.
