Kevin and Liza you are brilliant!
2:08 Goku is Mr. Starving; he's always starving. But if his stomach were empty, he wouldn't have the guts to prevent the enemies from destroying the Earth. Jokes aside, your channel is just wonderful for learners.
Most of the teachers in the world make a lot of mistakes and think their is noone as intelligent as I'm 😂😂...
Bt u r doing a great work pointing out how they always screw up 💯😊
✍️✍️✍️ Thanks a lot Kevin! Good lesson as always!
"To tie the knot".
literally means "amarrar el nudo" in Spanish.
But colloquially it means "echar el lazo matrimonial" in Spanish.
-"He got irate when he realized that I had gone out with that guy," She smiled.
-"Mom, I'm super starving; can you grab something to eat?" he asked.
-"They've recently tied the knot, haven't they?" he giggled like a six-year-old boy.
-"Sir, I don't want you to fly off the handle; I just have some unsatisfying news," he glanced.
-"As the truth had become obvious, my dreams smashed to smithereens!"
Thank you so much!
I would really like to see more videos like this!
Regards from Ukraine!
ok so you are from ukraine
@@ArtemHahauz-nm7bk ok nice
btw what situation is now in ukraine??
@@ArtemHahauz-nm7bk ok btw im from indonesia
I'm Indian and learnex is also a famous and an oldest indian CZcams channel,on this channel many different teachers teach English but I can't believe that despite being an expert English teacher they don't even know that "pissed off" is too informal, to be accepted in advanced English and they're recommending us using as an advance alternative to the word "angry" Lol😂😂😂😂
"Pissed off" Sounds cool but it ain't advanced
Don't say "they're recommending us using". Instead, "they're recommending using" or "they recommend using." Or "They recommend that we use it."
@@Andrew21219 Yeah, that's right, I can see you've learned from Kevin's videos, I think there are two videos that deal with that topic, I mean, verbs like; recommend, suggest, demand, insist, request, propose etc...
@@Andrew21219 well I noticed that after my comment was posted, but still didn't bother to 191586 I've also learned this rule from Kevin he has taught it in lots of his videos
'pissed off' is an advanced English😅
Obviously not. Who is that person saying that?
"Irate", "furious", "agressive", "belligerent", or hostile" are remarkable alternatives!
The specs guy in the video said that.
@@ArtemHahauz-nm7bk "FURIOUS" is the only synonym, therefore the only remarkable alternative.
AND "aggressive" and "belligerent" are synonyms BUT they have a different meaning, I mean, they're NOT synonyms for "furious or irate".
- Aggressive and Belligerent" have a completely different meaning.
(you can check it out in a dictionary if you want to).
# the spelling of aggressive is double "g" and "s".
I don't know who that guy is but I think he's from India, he sounds like he's got kind of an indian accent.
@@sgdusdm8225 What did that guy say ?.
Yo what's up everyone i hope you're doing awesome the video is great but I know this words i heard them before you're very cool 😊😊😊😊
I know THESE words.
Yo I noticed that mistake but thanks anyway 😅
@@shieldstar5629 anytime buddy 👍.
"To fly off the handle"
= perder los estribos.
= perder el control.
In Portuguese we have the very same expressions, like "perder as estribeiras" and "perder o controle" haha
@@kauanpaiva2989 Thanks for the info.
@@fredylopez2477 You're welcome
Keep correcting wrong English, so that we learn correct English.
I am from India.
The word I hear all the time for "very angry" is "livid"
"She was livid"
I don't know if "irate" is stronger than ""livid" 😂
"Livid" means furiously angry, and I think both words can be used interchangeably (livid and irate) BUT I think they're used only formally, I mean in formal texts, we usually hear the terms like; angry, mad when it comes to adjectives.
# when it comes to verbs, we hear: get mad or get angry.
@@fredylopez2477 👍
Isn't it Indian English? I don't think it should be covered here on this channel about American English. But anyway, even in this case, you guys give valuable information
😂😂
I am "istauing"😅😅😅😅😅😂😂😂😂 Laughing until 2030. Poor guy...
Most of the teachers in India pronounce every word wrongly and teach their students how to pronounce correctly 😂😂😂😂
