Thunderbird is spelled out in letters on the leading edge of the hood on the 1964 only. What a powerful badging and statement for one of the best ever!!

I love the 60's T-Birds with the Roadster tonneau. They way that Ford styled this tonneau gives the car a windswept look, even when standing still. Absolutely beautiful card, though I do feel the continental kit detracts from the beautiful T-bird rear end of that year (just personal taste).

What a gorgeous, gorgeous automobile. When I was a little kid, my mom's girlfriend had one like this - I don't recall now if it was a '64 or '65, but it was this style here. Hers was metallic blue. I don't know if that was factory, but it was a beautiful car and she was in love with it. I used to get to ride in it now and then. I'd love to have one of these now.

My folks actually had a 64 Thunderbird. They won it along with a lake cottage by competing in an essay contest, believe it or not. I remember going with my dad to pick it up from the dealer, and all the looks we would get driving in it. Unfortunately, my older brother took the car out ( about four years later) and totaled it. :( I got to learn how to drive in a beetle....

Beautiful specimen! I will say though that if the starter only engages with the transmission in neutral, something is malfunctioning with the neutral safety switch. It may just simply be out of adjustment. In any case, the starter should engage with the transmission in Park and the wheel to the right as well as in neutral with the wheel to the left.
I have a ‘64 myself and after adjusting the safety switch, my car will start in Park and wheel to right.

Sexy, petty automobile. A bit too flashy for my taste. I think the car would look better without Contential assembly in the rear of the car. It hides the wonderful tail lights, I would also prefer no luggage rack. I think the trunk room would be more than necessary? Thank You! Peter Brooks. I would prefer this type of car than 2017 cars, except for narrow winding roads.

The top retracts into the trunk and takes up most of the room. There isn't much room for anything else..I have a 64 convertible. They aren't practical cars, but they are fun to drive. They like to wallow on curves, but ride like a pillow on the straightaway. They weigh almost 5000 ponds.

I built several different plastic models of the '64 T Bird as a kid imagining that I'd own one someday. Jeez, at the time the model kits cost a couple or maybe 3 bucks apiece. I'd turn in Coke bottles and money earned from carrying groceries for seniors
    in the neighborhood
to make money to buy them. I wish I still had them......🤔

Beautiful car but so much wrong with it, 1st & Foremost these cars NEVER had to be put in Neutral to start, That was only The “Babybirds” 55-57. 2nd Repop on the tonnuea cover, Not a original. There were no seams on the head rests of a original cover. Wire wheels are Repops, there not the 48 Spoke count Kelsey’s Hayes. Of course the CK in the back was not offered as a option, Dealership add on maybe but not done at the Wixom Ford plant when they were built. Luggage rack was definitely a dealer option which was actually a Mustang Luggage rack part number wise. Again Beautiful car but I have owned/Restored Numerous Thunderbird’s over the years and when things are said/Done wrong it’s not fair to the ppl who don’t know or the car itself.
