So this video basically means 'RESEARCH ON YOUR BIRD BEFORE GETTING IT'' which is very imp😳
Yes it is very important, We had 2 ring necks once and they died to being sick we then bought a baby one but apparently it was too young yolive without its mother so it sadly also passed away. When we finally got to know moreabout keeping pets in general, we bought an adult ring neck which didn't pass away and lived healthy life with us till it flew away.
@@GoodBoy-cw2fg why did U LET IT FLY JUST WHY ... I WOULD NEVER BRUH LIKE ARE U A PARROT ARE U THERE PARROT MOTHER PARROTS LET THERE BABYS FLY AWAY WHEN THEY LEARN SOMEIN LIKE BRUH UR DUMB

True. It's not that hard to observe. My friend was going out of station. So he left his 11 years old ringneck at my place for 1 month. And within a week or so. I observed all these things. But few points i would like to correct. Not all of them hate cages. He used to give me indications. Like whenever he wanted to come out of cage. He used to keep pulling the door of cage. And whenever he was hungry or thirsty or feeling sleepy. He used to go inside the cage by himself. It was like his safe place. So some of these points may vary.
Calm down
This bird has become a permanent resident in the city wildlife of Netherlands, several generations in since the 70s its safe to say that it has become a native bird. When a zoo went bankrupt in the late 60s a whole population of a 100 birds was set free and since it is thriving in several cities with a current population of over 10.000 free Dutch-Indian Ringneck Parrots 🦜 They are very smart animals and they color up the bland environment of the country so much. Beautiful.
2:44 My budgies also start scream like that at 7 am here in India. Their screams are more effective than an alarm clock. Owning a bird give you a free alarm clock for free 🤣
so trueee 😂😂😂
Agree 😊
Yea same bu my 6 birds start screaming at 6am only omg lol
My budgies do it at 5 in the morning😅
@OhReoGre we are annoyed 😠 😤🙄 by you guys who always disrespect Asians or others please have some manners.
I just lost my male budgie after 13 years..... He was the sweetest and most gentle bird I've ever seen, never did bite anyone, it wasn't in him at all and he loved people. I enjoyed watching the yellow budgie here interact with the ring neck. Mt budgie was teal blue, white, and black color.
This video is great and really emphasizes how important it is to research about parrots before getting one - never buy one on impulse. People often don’t realize just how intelligent and complex it can be to properly keep parrots. Also many types can live for several decades depending on the breed - which is atypical for the majority of other traditional pets.
That being said, parrots can be absolutely exceptional as pets and create an incredible bond with their owner that make the effort beyond worthwhile. I have a Senegal and her needs are *extensive* but I fully knew what I was signing up for when I got her (I can’t imagine how brutal it would have been otherwise). Over my life I’ve had many types of pets (dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, other birds, aquatic animals - even a puffer fish) and the close bond I have with my Senegal outstrips what I formerly thought possible between a pet/owner. Senegal parrots can live for 60 years though, so there is the possibility that she could outlive me. I got her fully knowing the commitment I was making and it’s been almost a decade I’ve had her now. I couldn’t ask for a more incredible and loving pet - the time/energy I put in feels like nothing compared to the amazing companion I have in return 💚
Glad to see Indian Ringneck parrot with you I love it very much "Tesla" 🥰
Ring neck parrots are definitely not boring. 😂
It's amazing how well Telsa tolerates your Budgie. Actually you are doing very well with her. She's still young.. give her time. Remain consistent in learning to read her body language and communicating with her and your going to have a great bird for a long time! Can I suggest that you do everything to make her cage fun and enjoyable. The for a week or so, put her in her cage for 15 min. And ignore her... Take her out for 45 min and then go back to 15 min in the cage and ignore...Repeat this cycle every day over and over, until she learns to play by herself and enjoys her cage time. I give my bird a treat in the cage too. Often it's 4 or 5 sunflower seeds. He only gets them in the cage. Eventually you can lengthen cage time and your bird will becolme more independent. Less sceaming too. Let me know how it goes. This may taske a couple of weeks. Make sure he has some toys he can tear up, like balsa wood ect...
I read it as Tesla 😭
I would love to get a ring-necked parakeet, but, unfortunately,at this time, they are cost prohibitive for me.But,I still would love one!
I do love your Budgie just messing with Tesla! He knows where the fun limit is !
Tesla and Loki are new superstars now
But we will never frorget about Denny and other birds.
This is their legacy
1:35 Awww, your Budgie is looking for love too 😍
Hello to people in the comments who may feel dissapointed or thinking these are a bad breed they arent! Alot of these things can be helped by makibg sure your bird has lots of stimulation and challenging puzzles and toys! Attitudes also slightly vary from bird to bird❤ but it is good to keep in mind that this breed is not as simple as a budgie or a cockatiel
(2:34)
Tbh, that isn't the natural sound of ringnecks, that is the mimicking of budgie sounds.
Natural sounds of ringnecks are waaaayy louder.
P.S. My ringneck thinks im her mate and also tesla is very cute
Trust me I'm confused. She imitates budgie sounds and budgie imitates ringneck sounds 😂
Lol😆
You're very close to 100k , so excited.
Now she has 99K subs!😮😲
Aww! Tesla is a fuzzy Ringneck
Tesla is the cutest Indian ringneck ever!✨❤️😍
Being an Indian and owning a ring necked parakeet, i can say that you can control their behaviour. And make them learn whatever u want. Just need a little training. And u can enjoy best friend forever.❤️
Hey, how did you adopt a ring neck parrot, since owning one in India is illegal?
And there we have loki being the cute annoying one ... lol .. i love them both so much .. i always look forward for tesla in your videos she is just adorable
4:29 that budgie is like "DUDE lemme eat too im a bird too or i will bit you *tries to bite* DUDE WHY ARE U SO HUGE
2:00 loki preening Tesla just made my day
My budgies and tiels are enough to wake me up at 5:30am, i don't need any other medium to large(nippy) bird 🤣🤣🤣
Btw Tesla is cute tho 😍😍
I’m already awake at 6:00 pm everyday...
I mean..., Aren’t we all...???
That was a really weird warning there. Lol.
Thanks for this info. Birds aren't much different than people when it comes to the personality. They're all unique.
So funny! I have a male blue one and a sun conure. The ringneck thinks he's the sun's mate, but he is not destructive or loud or needy. He's very protective of the female sun, and will bite me if he thinks I'm hurting her.
My male Indian Ringneck is very loyal and friendly towards my mom, but he literally hates me but its me who always clean him, feed him and even bathe him. Only times he is friendly with me is when i give him peanuts 😔
Did lots of research thinking I wanted a cockatoo. So glad I have my African Grey female who is now 25. She was handfed and I continued to feed her for a bit. She bonded to my husband but she’s great with me as well. No obnoxious noises, mostly talking !
Denny I'm also going to buy a ringneck but I don't have space but after sometime I will build a big cage for parrot and my baby chicks (budgie laid egg)
And Denny we and I love you so much😇😇😍😍💓💓
Good advice for anyone thinking about becoming a bird owner. They are loud, destructive and wildly temperamental...but I love my feathered terror completely
I love birdies! 🐥💕
ur absolutely true they scream as hell when they dont see you just like my alexandrine even she screams in the bird room when im in my room and its so loud😬
So true Hates being ignored, is Jealous and you never can predict their behavior 😅 you never know when the bite is coming.
No matter what they are adorable 😉
And Tesla is soooooo cute
Indian Ringnecks have very amazing personality
"They get clingy" omg this is so true, my parrot sometimes gets mad at the mirror
Tesla is so cute🥰 and her owner too🥰
I'm getting another cockatiel today to help my depressed budgie
4:56 my heart melted away❤️💞🤗😭
Same reaction when I saw them together 😝
@@dennythebudgie Haha same with mine!!
I would love to own an Indian ringneck but unfortunate they are illegal to keep as pets in India
Yes
Tesla is an great name for an energetic parrot
And also I am glad that u made an Indian Ringneck vidoe I lived it 💜💜
Kookie aw
Tesla is so cute and health parrot you are so lucky that you have parrot like her 😊😊
Wow, you literally described my parrot and the relationship with *her* (idk if it's a boy or a girl 😂). But the difference is that *she* is masked lovebird. I often hear myself saying that *she* is never gonna be a tame bird, and that *she* never gonna let me cuddle, or touch *her* , but hearing your story with Tesla inspired me:) Thank you! Also, good job with your English! It has improved!:)
Which bird do you have?if it's Indian ring neck so if your parrot has a ring around it's neck its a male if not female
@@smurfedratio249 agapornis personata
I see the one named ‘kiwi’ here on you tube all the time, I just love that ring neck , it’s the prettiest, smartest bird I’ve ever seen it’s voice is so cute when it talks, I was looking up this type of bird and you popped up, yours is so beautiful too…. I’ve thought a lot about getting a bird, but I think I’ll skip it for now , I’ll just enjoys the ones here on you tube….❤️❤️❤️
They are real pain in ass sometimes. 🤣
Of you have the time and patience and are wanting one that is able to speak I suggest getting a budgie for your first talking bird...
I LOVE KIWI HES SO CUTE
I slept in one day and mine got angry at me, they opened their cage, flew into my room and jumped on me, and then started to yell “what are you doing” in my face until I got up 😂
I would love to have an Indian Ringneck. But they say that it is illegal to have them as pets in India 🙄. But few people ignore and buy them.
You and you bird Tesla and your other birds were looking cute playing together 😋 HEHEHE 🙂😍
YOU AND YOUR BIRDS LOOK
CUTE TOGETHER
🥰😘😍
💖
I also have a Indian ringneck and she does the same
Your birds are really cute
♡
Tesla is so frikin cutee
My male IRN doesn't make a lot of noise. They are in my office, and if I leave he calls after me, and I tell him I will be right back. It's almost 6am and I am on my computer, in the same room, and not a peep out of the Budgie either. I don't cover them at night, so they can see me up until I go to bed and early in the morning. He turned 1 year in July, and I bought him last October. I am wondering if they females make more noise than the males. He talks a lot, unless I try to record, and he goes silent (haha). My Budgie, Georgie, is almost four, and I got her in 2017. She has started to talk since Benny has been talking. It is not very clear, but Benny tells her she is, "GOOD", and she says, "THANK YOU". I really enjoy your channel!
Welp its 1am and I'm here:
You have so many adorable pets and you're a very good steward of the animals and birbs.
That's a good spirit to have.
🐤🐦❤🐇🐹🕊🐥
My IRN doesn’t scream in the morning unless someone besides me uncovers her lol 😂
Awh this is so cute so close to 100 k good luck you deserve it
I love the Tesla and Loki scenes 🥰
Indian ringneck parrot's favourite is green chili
Awwwwwww how can someone be so cute
Tesla is the cutest baby I have ever seen❤😃☺😊
In india we didnt have to keep parrot at cage and i only see the green type on our grounds trees
2:01 THE BUDGIE IS ALSO GR9OMING THATS SOOO CUTE
The yellow budgy looked more demanding
I recently got an albino one, she was abandoned in a box. She’s just a little baby still (I think) and when she’s happy to see me she bends right down making little sounds while her eyes go big and small, but sometimes she’ll get angry and bite. I’m trying to tame her but unsure how
4:40
Both looking so cute 😍
You will soon get 1 million subs😘😘😘best channel thank you so much😍
We just bought Frida yellow green blue and gray and Diageo turquoise and gray yesterday, both are 1 year old. Very quiet on day 2 Diageo let out a loud chirping sound. I believe they where kept outside with minimum contact not tame is what we where told by previous owner....
Their personality is cuteness
"Never say never"
Just like me
The little budgie is the cutest
Tesla and Loki are besties!
I love your videos, it is really helpful!Tesla is really cute!
Its so funny and cute how budgies always bond to big birds lol. My male budgie was bonded to my conure until hmshe passed away this past sept 1st.. Im waiting for a while before i even consider getting another. Not sure if i wamt another conure or a different type like a ringneck or caique. My conure and other birds are also free roam most of the day unless we are cooking or the cats are inside or its bed time. Then they just go in their room. They all have cages and the budgies love them and so does my tiel but my conure never did. SHe would cry and look like we were killing her lol i miss her so much. Your male budgie looks like my budgie disco who passed last january. So sweet.
My ringneck came home at about 3 to 4 mo old and he was not cuddly but he did not bite or show any aggressive behaviors. Things changed when he was about 6 to 7 month old. He started to leave bloody bite marks on my arm that left scars🥲and I was never allowed to touch him again. I tried many means, like moving his night cage to my bedroom, treats, toys, play time, even some natural calming powder. Nothing worked🥲 I was viciously attacked for about 8 month and, suddenly, he started to be nicer to me little by little. He is now a free-roaming 4-year-old. Although he is still not okay with my fingers but he would step up to my arm (only when he wants to) and let me face/nose preen him (only when he wants to) 😇 What a journey!
Does your ringneck have developed a ring in his neck?
Hello, glad you did inform yourself. And had so much patience.Sadly, tons of pets, end up into a shelter, because people think it's all rosy and cute.
telsa is really cute ...God bless u
Lol , even my Indian ringneck starts shouting early in the morning fro 4 o'clock to 7 o'clock
This is so helpful because I have mostly only seen CZcams videos where ringnecks are behaving their sweetest. It has been many years since I had a bird. If I get another, I will definitely teach the bird target training right away, which seems to help the relationship and open up all kinds of fun possibilities. They demonstrate it on the BirdTricks channel.
Birdtricks channel is absolutly great and you can learn so much from them ❤
My Jamela is 2 months old. She doesn't scream in the morning. I did hand feeding though. She wakes up quietly and eats her seeds first thing in the morning. When its feeding time she screams at me. She can be a beast then very friendly. Hormonal is true.
Tesla is such a cute bird 💕
Wow so cute birds...
Great video on some of the weirdness of ringnecks! They look like a big cockatiel to someone thats never owned parrots, but like all of them, they have their own unique problems...like terrible teens XD. I've only ever owned a love bird who recently passed from old age, but the fact that that nibbly little monster (yep, hand raised lol) eventually became the absolute sweetest thing, well trained, good manners, quiet unless he had something to say to someone in particular, even with his limited vocabulary he learned how to get a message across (even creating his own Bird Sign Language) and this probably helped him stay content most of the time because he even came up with one that meant "$#*^ you! I can see you are doing nothing, yet I am in the cage!" lol. By the time we lost him I swear we could read each other's minds... now I'm ready to take on the challenge of something a good bit smarter. I may know love birds but I know this will be a whole knew adventure :)
Thank you so much for this video, a ringneck is exactly what I'm looking into. LOL I won't be getting one anytime soon though because I do have a cat and I don't know how that would end hahaha. Anyway you're very informative any other videos you want to put out there I'll watch.
I have 4 ringnecks, and I love them all so very much, they are so extremely smart
We are close to 100k let's make it to 100k fast guys
I am an "ex ringneck owner" and I know well, how much they scream😵I still remember my ringneck broke her food bowl coz it was plastic🙂
By the way, Tesla was looking so cute while eating cucumber😍💙
Yes, they're really too loud!! I'm glad to hear that. It's an old video when I just got her and she used to eat cucumbers almost every day 😳 but because they're full of water, I started giving it rarely
@@dennythebudgie yes, they are very loud I can hear there sound when they pass through near my house, even when they fly far away 😅
@@dennythebudgie yea they r so loud omg 😳 lol 😂😆
@@dennythebudgie my 5 budgies and 1 male pied cockateil also are soo loud that I can hear their voice in the road we live and till terrace they r so cute and funny and active which is 1000% lol 😂😆 it's more than that only lol I can't stop laughing.
Yeah i used to own one too but it flew away. Theya re very loud. At like 3pm or 4pm when we were taking a nap, Mine would shout his name and whistle a lot.
I want to get a indian ringeck and this video helps me
Loki and tesla are such a good birb pair :3
I bought a 1month old ringneck, 7 months ago and i hand fed him and he bonded with me very much. He will be with me everytime before he start flying. It was my mistake I don't tame him because I don't know nothing about this, and now he was very agressive and always bite us, it was really hard to tame him now for me, what to do?
Same with my baby budgies that I hand fed. Because they adjusted to other birds they got very aggressive and scared of hands. I try to gain their trust by feeding them with treats from hand
@@dennythebudgie yes,he trust me very much even now, he loves to stay on my head for a long time but the real problem is while staying on my head he try to grab my ears and that hurts so much🤕, idk how to stop his biting and grabbing, and i don't even teach him step up, that's a real problem. anyone help me from this problem.
@@haseena844 my ringneck is around 4 months old and he/she( don't know the gender yet) is the same biting alot whenever i take him out of cage and he always chooses me to step on but starts to bite straight away i let him play around the room but after like 30 min or more i have to put him back in cage coz he gets very aggressive towards me and he already knows the step up but it's still hard to put him back in cage it's always a struggle, i try to train him in cage like put my fingers if he bite no treat or no attention if he doesn't bite means treat he seems to be getting it kind of . So i am just hoping that with time it will be better. 👀
@@prabhjotkaur6533oh, almost same I'm also get him out of the cage and i needed to get him back with in 45 mins, ya he was aggressive and also hard to get him back, yes i think it's a great tip, I'm gonna try that.
Your Channel is underrated ❤
its my lexi birbs birthday today! she turned one! shes very noisy, loves me, hates everyone else, shes a ringneck and very cute
We can't buy indian ringnecks, but some people here have them, most of them will not let them roam inside the cage all the time all alone, I feel so sad about them 😭. Lots of love to Tesla and others from India 💖
This video is so cute like the parrot watching it again 😂
So so true...my poor neighbour...mine is a free roaming too he won't go in his cage he scared of us closing the door so he just won't go in....he isn't hand tamed we are the third or 4th and final owners he screams his little head off if I'm not with him...destroys wall paper and bites if I try to touch him...but does fly to take food from my fingers🤗 hoping to get more from him but only had him a year so patience is the key we love him 💞🦜
How old is it and when you got? She could have been going through her bluffing stage. But like any animal they can be hormonal. Plus, there is a really good article out there, I seen on a bird Facebook page, about not letting your bird think your their mate. Rather flock member and ways to help retrain. Getting one in a day. So excited!!!! It’s a violet one, can’t wait to see in person and not just a photo. ☺️
What a cute little beast 😻
Very cute, if unpredictable burb. Give me an Aussie budgie any time. They're cheeky, cheerful, friendly & gregarious just like a lot of us Aussies.🤭🐨🦘
I know this video was about your beautiful ringneck, but I have to say that your budgie stole the show! I think your budgie idolizes the ringneck and it's so sweet! I see the ringneck doesn't seem to mind The budgie but dies the ringneck like hanging around the budgie?
Haha Loki is with Tesla since he was 2 months old, and he even imitates her sounds so now I have a budgie that sounds like ringneck 😂 Even if she's bigger, she doesn't hurt him but he does bite her toes, nails, tail, and sometimes eyes 🤕
Hello!
Tesla is the cutest indian ring neck!!!
Can I get pinned and hearted🤗🥰.
Thanks bye!!
Its so cute💕
I have an Indian ringneck who was never hand fed and was kept in his cage all the time before I got him. Your video gives me hope that one day he will trust me more if I keep trying.
