I really appreciate you showing the Neuf on! I have been trying to decide on which size to get but a lot of the other reviews I've seen were done by shorter people. which I mean no offense in any way, but I'm 5'6-5'7 so to see you with it on helped a lot with size comparison! I think I might go with the larger one :)
Hi Heather! I’m so glad to hear this was useful 😊 Honestly, I was a bit sad to return the Neuf as it is soo cute in that size. But everytime I start to have second thoughts I look at my photos with the bag on and realize that, oh well, it looks as if I borrowed it from my little sister… But remember that not sll the all tall ladies look the same, perhaps it would look different on your frame? Good luck choosing! 😊 If you buy the bigger one let mw know if it was a good choice! I’m still thinking about it but haven’t ordered.

I already have Polene Uno and I love it, and I was actually thinking about getting the same Neuf in chalk. I'm still thinking if this smaller one is not TOO small, your video was super helpful! I think I will go with bigger one then

Glad to hear the review was useful 💛 This Neuf in chalk is really stunning, I personally think it looks best in this size I filmed, BUT… I just would be annoyed everytime I’d have to squeeze my hand in to find items inside, and struggle to put them in/out. Also on my frame (I’m 180cm tall) it somehow looks too small. But if you’re shorter and would use this bag only for carying phone & wallet then I’d say go for it!
Definitely getting Un nano! Your review once again confirmed that it is small, but nice and spacious bag.
The only issue I have is color. Have been contemplating between textured sandalwood and taupe for a month now as I want a versatile color that will go with most other combinations and outfits.
Hi lovely 💜 I’m so glad to hear the review was useful! Oh the sandalwood colour is very nice. I think it looks best on someone with dark hair or cold skintone, like the model on Polenes website. Camel is a warmer one, at least how I see it. But overall, depends on what do you plan to wear it with, what color makes you extra glad seeing it? Both can work well with many outfits:) And un nano is such a grab & go bag, one of my most used ones, and it still looks pristine!
I am a redhead, but I do not like the way most camel bags looks on me unfortunately (too warm and bright), so I think I need contrast. My wardrobre constists of both cool an warm tones. I wear a lot of black, cream, navy, grey, khaki/olive green, tan shades, darker camel (as not strange)etc…my shoes are mostly black and ecru/white though. So am looking for a neutral bag color (except black) that could work with both warmer and coller tones. So I thought maybe Polene’s sandalwood or taupe would be best. But problem is I have to pick only one and not sure which one would be most versatile 😀

Hi Paulina! Glad to hear you like the review and enjoy your bags:) Did you get used to the limited opening space in the Nine? I have conflicting thoughts now as I returned it but still prefer how the smaller not bigger version looks, plus I prefer to have an organizer or some sections in bigger bags not just one big compartment. So I haven’t ordered the bigger Nine yet!

Yeah, was thinking to also buy the regular one, but all those wrinkle design looks better if compacted in smaller scale.
I think for the Nine, it's an "either or" situation. Either the design or the functionality.

I also have the same 2 bags, along with the Beri. The 9 definitely looks cuter in mini size, it's such a unique design. It's true the opening is small, but once you get through it, you could actually fit a decent amount of things. I don't use it as an everyday bag, but using a card holder and sunglasses with a soft pouch fits more easily. 😊

Love your bags. Can you please tell me if the handle on the numero un nano has discolored at all. I want to order this but am concerned about oils from my hand discoloring the handle. Have you had an issues with this? I’m trying to decide between the tan color or this trio color. Thank you!

Thanks for your feedback 💜 Handle of my Uno in trio has not discoloured at all, but probably because (I just now realize that) I rarely hold or even touch the handle:) I wear it cross-body 95% of the time. I think being light the handle of trio could discolour with time from normal use. Although trio combinayion is my favourite on Uno but generally the model looks great in other colours too:)

@@wendymelnikoff2724 it has worn very well to me so far, no signs of wear on the flap. It could appear in future of course, from sharp objects or so, but I managed to avoid it so far. Even on another handbag which is in smooth shiny leather. I have just accepted that it’s a risk. If that would make you worry about the bag too often then it’s better to choose some that you’ll feel more at ease wearing. But yes I understand, if you love tri colour then risk is that buying other colour than that will keep you thinking about tri anyway…:) Good luck choosing what’s both pretty & fits your lifstyle the best!
Actually I love the nano too but unfortunately I cannot put into super light umbrella 21cm, do you think I can fit my umbrella in the neuf ? Since the length is 23.5cm ?
You could probably squeeze it in diagonally, but question is if anything else would fit? Keys, cards, perhaps a phone. Would it feel comfortable putting items in and out? To me it wasn’t. Sad, as I think this model looks best in size nano:)

Hi lovely 🌸 If I had to choose today, I would still pick the same color:) To me, it looks very cool with these three similar colors combined, and it looks nice with all outfits where I want to have camel/brown bag. That being said, it really depends on your wardrobe & style. Think about outfit combinations that you’d wear this kind of bag with. That can help you pick the color. Black and grey are beautiful too, but wouldn’t work for me because when I need a black bag I’d always pick other black bags I own. Same with grey or let’s say red. So it really depends on the combinations you can make with this bag. Hope my feedback was somewhat useful, let me know what you decide later! 🫶

Hi! I did not order the bigger one yet. I have doubts of having a good use case for it, and just cannot get over the fact that the smaller version is much cuter, in my opinion:) But as you saw the smaller doesn’t work for me either!

Hi, I understand you completely! The opening is too narrow to be used for anything more than a card holder size. Even a phone one has to struggle to fit it inside, as captured in my review…
May I know what is the dimension of the bag opening ?
I’ve already sent it back, so cannot tell exactly. But based guestimate out of my visual memory, I’d say something like 14cm x 7cm in the widest…
