Collectively Managing a Farm with Rock Steady

Rock Steady Farms is queer owned and operated vegetable farm focused on food access, farmer training and community engagement. Visiting Rock Steady makes you appreciate complexity: the complexity of collectively managing an organization, of working with ecological systems on a farm and pushing boundaries in the farming world. We talk with two of the founders of the cooperative farm, D Rooney and Maggie Cheney, about how they got started, the cooperative model and the future of Rock Steady Farm.
