Man, as an Irishman I bloody love the Barrett’s, Beauden in particular, what a classy operator. If we are fortunate enough to beat the Scots, and meet the AB’s in the QF; May the best team win fellas! We’ll have a beer after!
I must say too, it’s so impressive how well these young men speak to the media, like so measured, not choreographed, human responses. Typical charming New Zealanders. Fair play.
Didn’t want to face you guys mainly because your my second favourite team I have a break in case of emergency Irish playing jumper at home if we lose. Looking forward to some good craic with some Irish supporters Kia kaha Ireland love yas
Hoping you guys win the comp if you end up beating us! Wouldn't it be a sight to see? Ireland winning the Web Ellis

NZ knocked Ireland out of the 2019 WC, so they can definitely say the feeling is mutual!
That is 4 years ago. Ireland is stronger now. It will not be a push over. Ireland has a better pack and are better at the breakdown and have some good speed. When they meet it should be a cracker of a game.
The Allblacks top pack might be better.
Ireland, AB’s, Boks, France…struggle with those that persist with the fallacy that one or other of the teams are “better” than another…fine margins!

Yep you’re quite right I can never hear the damn questions it’s bloody unbelievable.
This weird audio issue is not unique to Rugby alone - as an NFL, NBA and Rugby League fan, you can barely even hear their reporters either. It's a global phenomenon.

Good on you lads, you have earned the right to sit back, relax and watch your possible opponents rip into each other. I’m sure your management team will have that series defeat on repeat all week, a wounded and hurting All Blacks team is a very dangerous beast.
Yes. Absolutely! Please do... Play the video of them being ripped apart on home soil to them... over and over again... all week... in the run-up to a must win quarter against the same players. Nothin wrong with that plan. Top sports psychology. 😅

Thank goodness us Boks have nothing to do with NZL until probably the final. No disrespect to Ireland/NH but good luck to them in the Quarters coz the ABs have so much mental strength and composure comes knock out games and I doubt there's any team that can match them in that department.
I don't understand these press conferences' poor sound quality for the journalists. I cannot hear the questions being asked.... Barrets though, pure class both of them. Good luck to the ABs!
There's a wholesome glow around Beauden Barrett in this interview.

This Ireland team is in great form and are full of confidence and deserve to have bragging rights atm...But this All black team has yet to play to their full potential man we have some world class players in this current team and if everything clicks on the day i think it will be a very long day for Ireland...
Youre delusional, take your meds
You know Ireland have not played well in months, right? Once they play the way we know the can it will make for a very interesting game.
Yeah this NZ team when they play like they did against SA in July are very good. They're just so inconsistent.
NZ have had the perfect prep for the quarters, loss to France app.180 points scored against Italy and Uruguay, Ireland and Scotland will be going he'll for leather tomorrow, will a rested team be better than one who have just come through a battle?
Good question. There's an argument that Ireland's tougher gauntlet is better prep for a QF than New Zealand who, who had one tough game, then 3 consecutive matches against teams with far, far less experience.
I'm sure they've been mindful of that and the step up required against more experienced opponents, but SA and Scotland would be excellent prep for NZ if the bodies hold up.
@@IcarianX yes, I think a tough game can get the mind right, but Ireland have not rotated not rested players, at some point tiredness and fatigue is going to creep in, likely the you get players could physically recover week to week, but Ireland need the older players more.
Generally a decent tough game close, say a week or two before would be ideal, but NZ has known the itinerary for a while and hopefully prepped for it as best they can. With Ireland, having not resting their top players may leave them a bit less in the tank but you could also say gets them fitter and a more settled squad. More of a concern is injuries, who has players that can replace the first picks?. The ABs always get better playing more games together so you’d assume Ireland has too. Gonna be very interesting to see if NZ has learnt from the series against the Irish. Bring it on!
If you tell the world about the internal structural and structural mindset of current AB line up for this campaign, it means....AB is ,,, the hardest team to beat in this comp and on the planet any given time.
AB’s need to maintain discipline, and have a never say die mindset. They have the skills, just need the mental toughness not to crack under pressure.
I think that's what Ireland need. That way they might make it past the quarter finals for the first time ever in a tournament where it actually matters.
All blacks live with pressure … Ireland on the other hand seem to fold
@@ninjajunior4422this is a different Irish team though they don’t carry that legacy as some of those players weren’t involved in those last few World Cup teams.Their mindset seems strong their families are with them they are grounded and look like they enjoy being with each other. Ireland are sharp and aware of what they need to do. The only thing I’d say is the last time Ireland faced us we were probably the most lost ABs team ever.. a bit different now. And In Knock-out high pressure tournament I’m backing the ABs to take this.
Yes we wanted Ireland in the qfs for a reason nothing better than to end their unbeaten run and knocking them out again would be the icing on the cake 😋

Damien Makenzie has to be in the ABs run on 15 either in No 10 or 12 or 13. In the forwards, include Papalil n Frizell. This are the rest of the ABs games. Cam Roigard n Damien Mackenzie are both running n attacking players.
Why don’t they mike up those asking the questions?
Absolutely relishing this game against new Zealand. As an irish rugby fan I've never been as confident going into a quarter final before but thats not to say i don't respect the all blacks. They are an unbelievable team and deserve to be paid the highest of respect. Obviously i want Ireland to win, but if it isn't meant to be for us, i hope new Zealand go on to win it 🫶
New Zealand a proud Rugby Nation
Never underestimate the All Blacks
We South Africa have experienced this on many occasions. Not even our Ellis Park in Johannesburg could stop the All Blacks from producing a result for them.
true they are both the original big rugby nations along with Oz. Rugby is now at a very high standard in France and Ireland with excellent academies and bear in mind not many people play rugby in Ireland, its like the third sport. the balance of power will be equally divided between these 4 nations going forward i think.
Ireland are also a proud rugby nation. Expressing belief in your team is not a mark of disrespect towards the opposition. To think otherwise is surely a sign of some underlying insecurity.
@@some_might_say and in the 90s and early 2000s England and Australia were even further ahead of where France and Ireland are today. Australia won two world cups and England one over that period. It all ebbs and flows.

Let's hope we're not embarrassed in Paris!
NZ past glories count for nothing next Saturday. Talk of revenge is just that. Blair Kinghorn was blowing his horn about ending Ireland's winning streak and his team were crushed underfoot.
Ireland are improving all the time and are a better team than when beating the AB out in NZ. Scotland got carried away after running loads of tries in against Tonga and people are talking up NZ after doing the same to a very poor Italy. Ireland are a completely different beast. Ireland to march on.
Yeah you were spouting the same s*** before the last WC quarter
Scooter doesn’t think past his next meal 😂
I think if both teams play to their absolute top potential, ireland just squeeze over the line. anything less than perfect and NZ can punish us. could easily have been a final
A perfect ABs match is absolutely thrashing Ireland the way NZ did in the Eden park game. Problem is NZ isn't consistent like that and haven't played a perfect match probably since that game at Eden park. Ireland are consistent enough to play a near perfect match or at least 60 minutes of it in every game.
The Eden Park game was a referring joke and NZ were lucky not to ship a red card and multiple yellows that day. They were out of control with high shots and the ruck was a total joke with NZ illegally clearing out men beyond the ruck all game. That was remedied in the second test by a superior referee who implemented the laws and NZ couldn't adapt.@@Slipperygecko390
I watched the Twickenham game again.. Ireland have nothing to fear..NZ will have to tackle their hearts out and will struggle to run the ball... Joe Schmidt might find a way though.
Ireland aren't through yet.
They spent some time in Ireland as kids, played gaelic sports
