I've only recently saw for the first time ever - Jour de Fete starring Jacques Tati and I am only so sorry I never got to see any of his films up until now . I had if course heard his name over the years and am kicking myself for missing out on this artisan's incredible body of work ... I plan to make up for lost time ,tout suite ! What a wonderful , enjoyable little gem of a comedy movie . All the best from Scotland .

Because Tati use an experimental color process and shot the movie twice one with the regular bw stock film and the other with an early color process not as good as technicolor but interesting.
