Thank you for this informative video. It was so educating. I want to point out a few observations, basically it is assumed your interviewer doesn’t know what your answers would be, so don’t use the sentence “as we all know” instead use, “based on my research and experience.” Secondly, during a pre-CAS interview you are not expected to move your head from side-to-side or looking upwards and backwards awkwardly as this may lead to suspicions of cheat. Thanks 😊

Sorry if this is too late! I understand that the focus was on the questions she didn't answer well previously. But it's always best to be fully prepared

this was my case... i had to defer my admission to write my ielts..now i have passed ielts the school wants me to do pre-cas interview again😢
@@busayobanjoko yes they are crazy like that. I later had a very bad experience with Solent University. I even had to get a refund of my school fees from them. They refused to grant CAS after passing the English test, passing pre-CAS interview and paying over 50% of the school fees. They said cos I previously received a student visa refusal from Canada so they won't grant CAS.
I got pre cas refusal yesterday 😢from bradford university in uk

Hello! Your personal statement should be your original work. UCAS have a system in place to detect plagiarism and fraud. You can read more about it here; www.ucas.com/undergraduate/applying-university/filling-your-application/fraud-and-similarity
I do not know how this may affect your application. It will be at the university’s discretion whether to offer you a place.If your Personal statement is original, I wouldn’t worry much about it. If not, you should probably check if there’s an option to resubmit. I doubt there is.

Hi, I’ll be having my interview too, i failed one and I’m having another by God’s grace because i got admission from 2 schools. Please trust me when i say don’t just rely on one video, i beg you to buy a note specially for this pre CAS, and watch every video on youtube in regards to this interview. I failed my first interview cuz i thought the knowledge i had was enough. Brr, i learnt the hard way, but I’m grateful to God i have a second chance. Now I’m obsessed with my preparation honestly, as we speak I’m researching.
Hello Alexzinho. A lot of people have found this video helpful. However, I would say research as much as possible. This will help in the long run. Also, some of the things here may not apply to Portsmouth uni, so you will need to do further research. All the best ❤

I also have to deliver a pre-CAS interview for UEL but mine isn't live, I have to record my answes on a CAS Shield portal, did you have this same experience or was it fully live? If you had to record your answers, how was it? are you given any time to prepare for record your answers? can you retart them if you are not satisfied with your answer? I you could please tell me some of this I would be so thanksfull. 🙏
@@PsyRobert oooh interesting, that’s a new system! Can be good practice though as some employers conduct a similar video interview for jobs. I don’t know about the UEL system, but from experience in job applications, it depends on the systems they decide to allow. I’ve had the opportunity to record again from scratch usually, but some employers also require (d) that the video is recorded in one attempt. Lots of practice can help to make it easier. Please reach out to UEL to know more about whether you would have the opportunity to record multiple times. Wishing you the best in your interview🫶🏾
