New sub. Great vids, I grew up in New Orleans and love raw oysters. Haven’t heard anyone say “Chalmation” in years. Thanks buddy. I miss being down there. North Carolina has great oysters, but I grew up on the gulf oysters. Cheers.
The first person to crack one open probably didn't think that looks good...... They probably thought if they didn't eat that they were going to die.....and were praying that it was edible. My guess is it was an Australopithecus.....or something similar.
Didn’t know oysters also needed ‘seeds’ to latch themselves onto. Oysters would be a great solution for controlling algae. The shells can be used to create sand.
Oysters are the best solution for improving water quality. Before the shells get ground down, they provide shelter and anchoring for a wide variety of intertidal species.

Interesting video, but an oyster isn't a crustacean. It is a mollusk

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Puts more lead in your pencil💯
Throw in the fact that they are GMOs you’ve got a nice mess.
Love this vid, sounds like he's saying "Oyshters"
As someone who refuses to eat anything GMO, I wouldn’t touch these genetically engineered oysters with a 10 foot pole.
Lol at the commentary... Didn't sound too good when I was away from my phone lol... So funny great video guys

Pretty ironic under the title "Science of Oysters". They're mollusks not crustaceans.
Lol at 0:50. I thought an oyster was a mollusk.
Oi-shterr!
Oysters🦪, Clams (|) , Mussels (), Scallops_(\|/)_ , snails 🐌 , Octopus 🐙 are all mollusks. Crabs 🦀, Lobsters 🦞, & Shimp🦐 are all crustaceans
Exactly but Our 6400-mile dead zone in the Gulf of Mexico produces no more O2 for Sealife to exist in 2023. Florida is even worse now.
Ugh. The audio is 17 seconds behind the video. Was the the way the video was uploaded is a lag by youtube?
Science helping nature... what could go wrong?
Very Good!

I just now got into the oyster business. Learning as much as I can as fast as I am able to do.

Ummmm.......it's a mollusk, not a crustacean.
How do you call it science of oysters and then call an oyster a crustacean tho
I LOVE OYSTERS FOREVER
Do these businesses and schools give back to the wild what they take?
2nd Errata: not 3 chromosomes, 3 full sets of DNA.
wheres the part 2?
I am from the NorthEast US. Wellfleet oysters are my "weapon of choice."
How do the 'muricans manage to make everything 80s video?
I like how much variety there is in oysters all over the world.
Oysture.
You want to meet our first ancestor to crack open an oyster? Well, you’re gonna have to go back about 4 million years for that.
Oysters are not crustaceans.
Looking for this comment,
Just wanted to see if there's another person who realises oyster is not crustaceans
I’ve found my home
Bivalve
By creating this do you think it will cause some type of a defect in humans
I was thinking the same thing. 🧐
So they are genetically modified oyster.
All for the sake of profit.....
8:50 I thought he called Robin a SOB.
But then I saw her name
Omg I thought he called her a SOB 😹💀 glad I found this comment 😭😹
I've been researching into growing mushrooms at home and found a fantastic website at gregs mushroom grower (google it if you are interested)
