Minute 14:46: "Guareta", means "twin", in spanish colloquial language. (Note: The younger generations almost don't know about some of these words!) My grandmother referred to floor ("piso" in spanish) as "soberao", other word today's kids don't know.....These words are from the Taino language. By the way, some years ago I heard about a restaurant somewhere in Puerto Rico called "El Soberao", but don't know if it still exists. 😮

I have explored much of this island in shorts and flip flops and live and work on a farm often dressed in less. There's nothing extremely poisonous or venomous here in PR and I know how to identify and avoid them. Take care.
