This is a review of the ROMOSS Thunder RS 300W power station. A mini power station that has a 300W output and a 231Wh capacity. Suppose you're not concerned about having too much power and want easier portability, a power station with a great build, plenty of recharging options, and a useful screen. In that case, this ROMOSS unit is a decent choice. The only letdown was the AC capacity efficiency, but other than that, this is a solid mini-power station. - Věda a technologie
The 65% efficiency is due to the unit driving the lamp for so long. The inverter obviously uses approximately 6watt when on standby to drive fan etc. In other words - if you leave the inverter on without any AC load connected, then the battery will be depleted after approximately 38,5 hours WITHOUT supplying any AC power. That would translate to a 0% efficiency. If the lamp was on for 10 hrs, then 60 watts would be used up by the inverter electronics alone. Efficiency would therefore improve when a higher load is drawn from the AC outlet and the inverter only works for a shorter time and therefor wastes less of the 6 watt "standby" power...
Thank you for the review. I like your video review and then I really enjoy reading your written article that you provide a link found below in your description. The 65% D/C to A/C conversion rate is terrible and the marketing team that designed ROMOSS unit also missed a sales segment completely. That segment is R/C car, Cell phone and Drone battery charging market. I feel that's the market this unit should have focused on. The ROMOSS unit chares quicker from a vehicle cigarette lighter port, 65 watts, then a grid A/C input, 48 watts, tells me ROMOSS was thinking but they sure missed the mark when it comes to a "brick" is needed to A/C charge the POMOSS unit from the grid and NO STORAGE compartment for cables. R/C and Drone folks have lots of cables and a place to store them will make a difference when selecting a unit.
Thanks for this details review
No problem. Thank you for watching.
Good review but please can you let me know how noisy the unit is. Eg. If you are using it on a low load, like 30w etc, will the fan come on or is it completely silent. Also, does the fan come on during charging. Thanks.
can i charge the unit using solar panel? if yes how many watts??
Can I charge it via the type c pd port.
Thanks
Can it power a ps4 and TV and how many hours will it last
How fast does it charge
AC is pure sine or modified sine?
Is it possible Charging while using?
Do you think it could power a very small heater 200 watt. Thanks for your review, it is very informative... Thank for a reply.
Sorry for the late reply. Yes, it can power a 200W heater, but it will likely only last 1 hour.
How was it after 6months?
where i can buy it
Check out the link in the description to the Amazon page. I believe it is also listed on Ebay, just search for "ROMOSS power station"
You should probably add an intro and outro video.
Maybe some edit cuts.

If you test an appliance, at least test it as if you are going to use it else, it has no meaning
