I'm glad you caught on to the Yung Lean influence at the start because it's definitely there, whenever you first listen to him there's almost like a feeling of confusion but also curiosity. I've been listening to him for like a year now but I was just commenting to say him and his group "Haunted Mound" are very inspired by OG soundcloud rap like Black Kray, Yung Lean, Chief Keef as well as other genres like Witch House and Black Metal. It's like a weird amalgamation of a bunch of different concepts and aesthetics but it all fits together really well, it's like horror movie Chief Keef with references to mythology and folklore as well as modern pop culture references. (this song is not the best representation of his sound) He's evolved a lot over the years in terms of his sound and everything in general, every mixtape has it's own sound and atmosphere but there are consistencies that remain throughout it all. Apologies for writing so much but honestly I'd recommend checking out more of his stuff along with the other members of Haunted Mound, he's one of those artists that grow on you a lot with every listen. One of the most unique groups to come out in years people don't even realise yet. Their new music is insane. If you want to listen to his new music that is more digestible I'd recommend his most popular song "Haunted Mound Reapers" or "Babayaga" I feel like they'd be a lot easier on the ears lol.

Butcher House is his newest tape, and from that I‘d recommend stuff like Suffer or Hallowed be my wrist. He as an Artist is unbelievably unique, he has many different styles and influences, so it‘s hard to pick a song/project that represents him on a full spectrum. I hope those recommendations are helpful and I‘m looking forward to maybe see you listen to more of his stuff and starting to enjoy him slowly like I did a few years back❤️🖤

Semetary is one of my many huge influences on my music persona called TheHumanAIgod on my channel although I'm going more in the route with combining vocal synthesizers with the human body and making original work with ai/vocal synthesizers and not ai cover songs like you see with drake and etc.

Thank you for being honest in your opinion. I went to the same exact video for my first experience with him. I thought he was maybe a slept on artist that the boy$ were trying to promote. But god damn this made my ears bleed. This is up there with the worst things I have ever listened to.
A decent amount of his music was made with another artist under the name ghost mountain, ghost mountain wanted to stop making music and continue school so semetary got mad and started dissing him saying "quitters will be quitters" and also deleted a lot of his songs with ghost mountain which are arguably his best songs, i still like some of his music but IMO the best songs of his were deleted
I’ve first heard of him from the grey day tour lineup and his better songs are HAUNTED MOUND REAPERS, LOUISVILLE SLUGGER, SKULLS, and PAIN. Also Hackle’s BAKELITE is a good one too. Their music is not my thing really but some of their songs grew on me a little.
Probably not the best idea to listen to his first album to get a taste of what to expect from the greyday performances - a lot of shit has happened since then (three new members in HM, girlfriend and breakup, etc) and he doesn't make music with Ghost Mountain anymore (unfortunately)
Hey fellow humans, I just reached the 65 mark so admittedly my opinions thoughts might come from an entirely different place, at the end of the day, my own personal opinion means nothing to anyone and I get that. however, I have to agree with TaunT, this song has nothing, their is very little meaning, talent the whole thing is like listening to that well known screech of the chalk board. I find it a bit bizarre yet interesting that this even made it to CZcams, I can't for the life of me understand why anyone would view this as talent because this is not talent, this is a 3 year old making baby noises LOL.
