- Since you guys we most likely not getting anything interesting on today's 7h anniversary stream and you guys seem to want more of this Fate/Grand Carnival dub highlight videos I made one on our girl Gudako! 😳
I really like the performance that Lizzie Freeman had on her, i feel their voice fits Gudako well and i love how they pronounce Red Hare 😂 (altho that isnt Red Hare, thats Lu Bu)

@@Nagalior true, screwed up my enjoyment of a huge part of the story when I needed to rush it for event... the part was from second half of Babylonia to two Lostbelts. Skipped everything except bookend first and last chapters to get to Oniland... I actually replayed prologue reading all parts, but still can't bring myself to finish LB1 & 2 to the end. Knowing that there's a break of almost two years with nothing locked past LB3, I at least am taking all of story now with normal pacing.
They really got the “master simps for one servant and ignores every other responsibility in Chaldea” energy and that’s all you need

She really captures the chaotic evil nature of Gudako. I’ve seen a bit of Lizzie Freeman’s work, and she’s pretty good

I'd like to think the "No! You bastards." wasn't in response to Cu's death, but to Gudako's pronunciation of his name, and no one bothering to correct the VA on the proper pronunciation.

I made a comment about this before and it’s still very applicable.
Gudao: Postive. Headstrong and determined, sometimes a bit excessively but a well rounded guy.
Gudako: Unhinged and of questionable sanity. Speaks kindly when being cruel and cruel when being kind. Would save the world or laugh as she watched it burn, it’s a tossup.
Just tell her saving the world will give her all the carrots for her sick furry obsession...And watch how quickly the world is saved.
Gudao being a positive is hilarious.

Lizzie freeman really is something special! She became one of my favorite va's to listen to in dubs so I recognize her voice often. From an adeptus lawyer, to a witch that killed slimes for 300 years, to now our gacha beast. Shes been killing it!
And I guess being a rental girlfriend for a hopeless mc, but I grit my teeth because it has a goated cast...
I mostly know her as Meggy from the SMG4 channel. For me it's like if Meggy got isekai'd by accident to the Nasu-verse and I love it🤣
She's also a street punk who likes DBZ and kills Witches with a giant hammer to get all the bitches(her moms don't let her say bitches though)
Yeah, Rent-A-Girlfriend is definitely something I only really follow for the VAs (though I watch in Japanese) and the hilarity of the subreddit.

The most malevolent of all is the seventh time Fate dubs have tried pronouncing Cu Chulainn and STILL not getting it right in spite of there being like 3 acceptable pronounciations
The 3 acceptable ways are Cu Hullan (H is a voiceless glottal fricative), Cu Cullan, and Cu Hullan (H is a voiceless velar fricative)
I like the way Emiya said it in FSN:UBW, so that’s the way I’ve always pronounced it

Tsukihime anime, yes it exists, was really bad. So they likely wanted to forget it and not bother dubbing original Carnival. And add in the fact type-moon wasn't as big back then as it is now.
