    If you can't remember what the pressure was before waiting x time you can simply look at your SPG while opening the tank again. If the needle jumps up you lost pressure.

    Another reason to dive in sidemount. Bubble checks are easy and, if there is a loss of gas, shutdowns are quick and simple.

    Shortly after I purchased my Genesis Prana Reg set I attached the Sherwood Console. Did a Negative Check. However, I don't have a Cylinder to attach to. Just the Dust Cap. I did have a slight inhale. Is there a way I can check without the cylinder?

      My regs don’t let you draw any air even when it is just the dust cap on the first stage.

      @@chrisphilhower6029 Mine are DIN Apeks regulators. It could be slightly different for yoke I guess since DIN has the O-ring on the first stage instead of the tank.

      @@twoknife The Cap is Plastic. And No O-Ring. Haven't Tested in the water yet.

    If you rent tanks with Yoke valve - 95% of them will lose pressure, when it's loose pressure with my personal tank connected - that's when i start to worry.
