But, fascism is defined as such : "a political philosophy, movement, or regime that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition". Most of the concepts presented in this definition can be observed in Le Pen's policies. The "forcible suppression of opposition" can't be observed, as she didn't win. But, it's more than likely that it would have happened. Just like it would surely happen if Americans are silly enough to elect a vengeful Trump.

In three days prior to the second round of elections the communists, socialists and greens banded together to form one new party, the National Front. The NR won the most number of seats as a single party. Without the new left coalition, they would not have gained the seats they did. So CNN was not wrong either.

Now do the American 2016 presidential election.
Take the 1st round votes so more like 5 000 000 (10,6M Versus 9+7M).
The 1st round had many seats settled already so no need for millions of voters to vote during the second round.

Hey CNN: there's a reason France voted for the far right! They where tired of all the leftist garbage and wanted them out.
Hopefully we see something like that here in the States.
Unlike the other western countries who turn against globalism, free market and gone woke or inward looking, the French people still believe in their practise and retaining their aspiration of what has been captured in their national motto Liberté, égalité, fraternité, though not fully delivered on all fronts internally, or in their overseas territories at times . They repulsed the ultra right wings whose whole design and intent is to go away from those ideals. Many others in the West need to rethink of their failing pursuit of self interest through flagrant money laundry and manipulating through systemic financial engineering, rampant promotion of lethal arms industries rather than those not killing others for profits,or totally against any commitment of compliance with those international laws or treaty that enhances global cooperation in promoting more environment, social and human rights cooperation and enhancement.
'Uncertainty' is a certainty. One cannot say EXACTLY for scientifically certain what will happen. Have a idea of what may or may not happen yes.
