Hokuto's mother who somehow has something against Wataru, Subaru's dad who passed away without his name being cleared, Anzu's brother who was mentioned as a Yumenosaki student in normal course by Anzu and who transferred to Anzu's previous school during !! era, adding to Anzu's parents with whom Mao has been familiar with (for the countless times he escorted Anzu), that one senpai mentioned by Hajime (forgot what era) who crossdressed and people expecting the release of a new character and possible unit. Who knows how I was able to remember this much despite them being irrelevant to the story
And when you don't log into the game for a long time (a month or so) Subaru appear saying how much they miss you and how much you mean to them like that's so beautiful
this is such a good intro but when i was rerolling on jp i had to hear this every time i rerolled (jp doesnt let you skip the intro) and lets just say i have about 10 alts i still get flashbacks from getting every 5* but the one i actually wanted
since jp has been running much longer than en, there's a lot of 5stars, I hope you got who you wanted! (Though, I'd suggest just starting and saving dia for the character's Birthday Banner)

Rerolling is restarting the entire game to get the perfect starting ten pull (preferably one with multiple 5 stars or a specific card). Though this function isnt available on the English server or any of the other international servers (Chinese, Korean), only on the original Japanese server. I used to reroll whenever I wanted to do a ten pull when I was still new to the game, which ended up quite a waste for me, as I'd keep restarting my data pointlessly, but if you're new to the game then rerolling is a risk worth taking as the only thing you'd lose is time, which you have at the start of playing.
Enstars has a lot of great and popular voice actors that are really good at singing, the music between all of the units has probably have been one of the best I've heard. The solos are great too, they truly show how the characters are feeling, for the most part at least. The shuffle units sound great too. Happy Elements did a good job putting them in units, the voices really mix and go well together with every unit. The storyline to Enstars is very good as well, it has heartbreaking and funny moments. Enstars is truly a great game, I'm glad my friend introduced me to it. Sorry if this is kinda worded badly.
I just realised that the art they use for MaM in that "slideshow" of the different leads isn't his initial 5☆ art, it's for his first event as Double Face. I wonder why they switched it.
I think it has something to do with Anzu. Anzu was more likely aware of Double Face's initial goal, but for Mama's "safety", she had sort of forced Mama to stay in Double Face by restating the unit rules

It's a game called Ensemble Stars, and while it is originally a game, it does have an anime series with 1 season and (yes) a movie. However, the movie is not available in English, dub or sub, and even if you understand Japanese, you'd had to have some basic background knowledge about Ensemble Stars first. I do highly recommend playing the game, though, it's global release was around two months ago, so you can play it in English if you are not a Japanese/Chinese/Korean speaker.
other than anzu (the mc you play as),, there’s arashi narukami from knights !! she is the only female idol but she’s very compassionate and is full of heart
i like the game but i had trouble connecting to the story and with the characters since the one we play as is automatically female and i am a guy... it was so disappointing, and kinda sad that they can make such a good and decent game but cant take the simple thing to make the mc genderless or make the player choose their pronounce into consideration :( would be nice if they made some changes
As others have said, Anzu is her own character and has a surprisingly extensive background before the main events of the game! I'd recommend looking into it, it's pretty interesting and quite depressing at some points. Quite far from a self insert character akin to someone like Yuu from TWST. And tbh I wouldn't worry about her in the story. Anzu takes a major back seat in the !!era and most events/story beats focus primarily on the boys with her occasionally appearing to help out if needed. As you can tell, I am an Anzu stan through and through.
